Currently I'm preparing an update for landscapes, though it might take some weeks to finish it;) Besides, it's about time to pak everything together to an All in One!
AIO-variants sound great, atm need to combine each of the individual max. res Vivid xyz-mods with the BG3TUP (overwriting files to ensure the Vivids' get used) so that will save a few steps in the process :).
One of these visual mods has been causing god awful screen flickering for me and it's making the game borderline unplayable. I'm not sure if its this mode or one of the others I've downloaded from the suggested ones in the description. How can I uninstall these files without destroying my save?
Texture replacement mods are always save to uninstall, they don't affect savegames. Btw. The screen flickering has most likely nothing to do with textures. GPU Controll Panel settings might be the culprit;)
It's generally more work to make them into pak files. Besides, loose files always take priority over paks so this way you know it will work. You can also customise by overriding individual files with another mod rather than having all the files of one pak overriding files of a previous pak (if they target the same files). Traditionally, textures have always come loose in when modding. It's just much more convenient, but they can get left behind when uninstalling via mod managers.
Hi. I am having performance issues, I think with my computer in general. Till they're fixed, BG3, and other games are unplayable. If I want the best performance possible, what do I need from these performance mods?
Hey mate - excited to try this! The install directrions say to just place Data folder in games directory. Do I overwrite the existing Data folder im ....steam/steamapps/common/baldursgate3 or?
oddly enough, when i dropped the files into the folder it didnt ask to overwrite anything. Literally just dragged and dropped it into what i posted in the comment and all was well.
Silly question, If I am running the game at 4k resolution, with everything ultra will your collection of mods improve the graphics further? Does the game run 4k textures when at 4k resolution or does this mod change the textures to 4k + visuals of textures?
first question: yes it will second question: Texture size and screen resolution aren't tied together. To have 4k textures means to have a ingame surface stored as 4096x4096Pixel file. Having 4k screen resolution means you display the whole scene with all it's surfaces (independent from their pixel size) in 4.096 x 2.160 or 3.840 x 2.160(Ultra HD) on your monitor

Yes it's still included, the new option comes with stronger waves.
Reuploaded it, altered the archives name and changed it's compression.
let's hope it works now
Just downloaded the latest VL - Water - Best Performance and it still gave a virus warning.
Latest one (1.7) fixed this.
