This is the new Baldur's Gate Mod Manager version. No need to update the ModSetting.lsx file. Just copy this pak file into Mods and it should work once you enable it in BG3 Mod Manager in the game

You no longer have to fear the sun as your spawn and you grow more skills and powers as you level.

This mod was created as a way to have a vampire character from the beginning of the game and be able to infect others in the game with a bite. With the bite the creature bitten will be inflicted with BLOODLESS effect and will also get the base vampire bite ability in their skills. Should they bite someone else and feed while under this effect, they will become a full vampire which can only be lost on death where a resurrect scroll is needed to bring them back to life.
Your character will gain powers as they level in this mod and this demo shows powers gained as you level up to level 3. Also, shows the powers of a vampire character from the start of the game.If your character was not a vampire from the beginning (or you change once of the companion characters to a vampire), they will take sun damage when not fed and under the HAPPY Status, so make sure to feed before leaving camp (Where you are immune to sun damage). You will also take double radiant damage due to being a vampire.
It is an updated version of the Origional Vampire mod I made on November 22, 2023. Play as a Full Vampire Beware of the Sun
Basic Skills Gained as a Vampire:
Vampire Bite
- You gain the ability to bite your enemy (or feed on a friend) for a damage of 1d6 [This gives your character the HAPPY status in the game until long rest]
- The creature you bite (or feed on) is given the status of BLOODLESS. This will give them the Vampire Bite but no other vampire powers unless they feed while bloodless which will turn them to a full vampire.
- If they don't feed and take a long rest, this BLOODLESS effect will go away and they will not become a vampire.
- You gain the ability to change into Gaseous Form, which allows flying and moving through smalll spaces
- You gain the ability to change into Bat Form, which allows bite as a bat and move in that form
Create Undead
- You gain the ability to create a single undead (Skeleton or Zombie) from a dead corpse on the ground
Musical Proficiency
- You know how to play a musical instrument and can use Performance
- You gain the ability to have Darkvision at a range of 12
Vampire Movement
- You gain a +3 to your movement due to your undead nature
Vampire Proficiencies
- Stealth Proficiency: Roll 2 dice and take the higher of the two on Stealth Checks
- Perception Proficiency: Roll 2 dice and take the higher of the two on Perception Checks
- Slashing Resistant: Take 1/2 damage from Slashing Damage
- Bludgeoning Resistant: Take 1/2 damage from Bludgeoning Damage
- Piercing Resistant: Take 1/2 damage from Piercing Damage
- Immune to Blindness
- Immune to Charmed
Additional Basic Skills Gained as a Vampire by Level:
Level 2
- Mask of Many Faces: Shapechange (Into the main races that are playable)
Level 3
- Speak with the Dead: Speak with dead corpse and ask up to 5 questions
Level 4
- Create Darkness: Cast Darkness in an area similar to the Drow Race spell
- Summon Wolf Companion: Summon a Wolf Companion to fight at your side (Once per long rest)
- Necromancy of Thay: Summon multiple undead creatures to fight at your side (Once per long rest)
Level 7
- Piercing Bonus of +3: Increase piercing damage by +3 on attacks
- Slashing Bonus of +3: Increase slashing damage by +3 on attacks
- Darkvision Increased to 24 Range: Darkvision improved to a range of 24
- Control Undead: (One Target Equal to Character Level or Less)
- Movement Increase Improved to 7: (Instead of 3) - Gain +7 to movement speed
- Vampire Bite Damage Doubled (From 1d6 to 2d6)
Abilities from Feeding (Happy Status) [Lasts until long rest]
- Gained At Level 1 - 8
- Regenerate 1+Level HP/Turn - Can also bring character back from being downed
- Advantage Charisma - Roll 2 dice and take the highest of them for Charisma Checks
- Advantage Strength - Roll 2 dice and take the highest of them for Strength Checks
- Advantage Dexterity - Roll 2 dice and take the highest of them for Dexterity Checks
- Bonus of +2 to All Stats (Strength, Intelligence, Wisdom, Dexterity, Constitution, Charisma)
- Carry Capacity Multiplier X2
- Removal of Sunlight Damage Effect - Do not take damage from sunlight while fed (Happy Effect)
- Resistant to Poison Damage - Takes half damage from Poison Damage
- Immune to Necrotic Damage - Takes no damage from Necrotic Damage
- Gained At Level 9 +
- Regenerate 10 HP/Turn -Can also bring character back from being downed
- Advantage Charisma - Roll 2 dice and take the highest of them for Charisma Checks
- Advantage Strength - Roll 2 dice and take the highest of them for Strength Checks

To install:
Place the mod file called AstarionVampire.pak in the folder C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mod ***Make sure to create the Mod folder here as the new update doesn't have the folder anymore***

Powers of the Shadows: (Updated Version of my Play as a Shade mod from 22 Nov 2023)
Shades are (or were) normal humans, elves, etc... who through arcane magic merged with the shadow stuff of the Plane of Shadows. While they still appear as their original species and retain their abilities, they have grown in power by merging with the Plane of Shadows.
This merger with the Plane of Shadows has changed their essence, so that they are essentially undying, unless they meet with an unfortunate accident or are killed. Diseases have no effect upon them, and they can regenerate 1 hp/round.
Because of your heritage being a creature of the Plane of Shadows, you do not gain inspiration from this background. You are a creature made of the void and thus are not inspired by anything in this world.

Dark Urge Darkness: (New Mod for the Dark Urge Storyline)
This mod is made to give the Dark Urge Origin character a few more abilities make the gameplay more interesting and that increase in power as the character levels. They gain the ability to cast Darkness each combat, Immune to Blindness from Darkness, can Shadow Teleport, have Darkvision (24) and Necrotic Damage with weapon and Unarmed (1 + Level)
thanks! I like to think durge is a little more powerful than the others even with the tadpole nerfing their abilities so this is great! i don't mind the tad overbalance for durge at least lmfao - jessmeows (March 22, 2024)
Demi-God Improved: (Updated Version of my Demi-God Mod from Sept 29, 2023)
This mod is a combination of the Demi-God Mod and Play as a Full Vampire and Play as Shade mod. Characters can start as a vampire and if they bite someone they can become a vampire if they feed while Bloodless,

Play as a Hulk with Barbarian Rage: (Updated Version of my Hulk Out Mod from 18 Oct 2023)
This mod gives any Barbarian the ability to become the a Hulk or She Hulk when they use Rage in combat. This only impacts characters that have Rage ability. "Play as She-Hulk" for female transformation and "Play as Hulk" for male transformation.
