Omg I am so excited to play with my gnome tiefling now. Thank you! I'm curious though. There is a mod for gnome orcs too. If I made a gnome tiefling orc and used both the half orc and tiefling mods would that break my game?
Hello! I can't tell you how excited I am to have this mod. However, I was wondering. Is there a way to remove the tag for the companions and just have it set for Tav? Thanks.
Glad you like it! I was playing around with it and it does seem possible but I'd need to do it for each race individually, which I'll probably do eventually now that I know. I think it would still apply it if you share a race with them, like playing Gith Tav with Tief Tag would still give it to Lae'zel too but wouldn't give it to Shadowheart, Wyll, etc. In the meantime I can do a specific one if you need it now.
no hurries! but thank you so much! [would i have to do a new game for it too?] think i can just ignore it right? i'm not far in the tag but it just gives the dialogue OPTIONS not the npc reactions?
that's fine! i don't mind. and i THINK it does. i had the druids refer to one of my companions as 'one of the other tieflings'. i haven't had the kagha interaction yet to see how it'd play through. so if you did half-elf with the tag, it'd hit shadowheart and my tav only? anyhow no hurries and much appreciated! ty again!
Hi! Thank you for your hard work! Should the mod work with the human race? I've already created two Urge human characters and the tag never showed up at game start :(
here is the order of downloading through Vortex 1. Community Library 2. My mod 3. Tag Framework 4. Compatibility Framework I also have a couple of cosmetic mods installed, what could be the problem?
Hi! sorry its not working for you but it should be working on humans. I just tested on a dark urge human now and the tag worked for me. I wouldn't think that a cosmetic mod would cause an issue with this
Don't know if I'm missing something obvious but I'm countering a problem where drow characters do not receive the tag. I tested it for elf and the tag was present after loading in so it seems I have the mod installed correctly but it's just not appearing for drows (maybe other races too but I haven't tested them). This is just on the nautiloid so I don't know if drows would still receive tiefling dialogue with the tiefling tag missing, also these were all new campaigns.
The tag is added automatically at the start of the game, you don't have to do anything else. It will show up in the Tags list under your characters detailed view. It only works on new saves however.
Can I ask about your load order? I have 1. Community Library 2. Tag Framework and Last Compatibility Framework I have tried putting your mod as third after Tag Framework and last after Compatibility Framework and it didn't add the tag. I tried it on existing playthrough and completely new playthrough with elf , dwarf and halfling I wonder if I am messing something up with load order. I tried with all the other mods disables and with 3 variants gith , liefling and dragonborn separately
I have just tried adding dragonborn to a wood elf but no luck the tag list remains unchanged. Load order : 1. Community Library (Various mods mainly armors, heads, hairs) 2. MiniDragon mod 3. Tag Framework 4. Compatibility Framework
hmm that's strange I just tried it and the tag worked for me in that order. The only thing I can think of now is, are you using the latest version? The first release didn't include elves
For troubleshooting purposes could you please tell me: 1. If you are able to add tag in the middle of playthrough or does it have to be a new save? 2. Are you able to add more that one tag i.e. minigith and diminutive dragon at the same time or only one? 3. Does it show for you in the tag list in detailed view? 4. does it override the main race tag? For example do npcs (for instance Shadowheart) react as if you were a gith (added tag) or elf (main tag)?
1. It doesn't work mid playthrough, Tags are locked in at the beginning of the game I believe 2. It does work with multiple of my Tag mods 3. It does show up in the Tag List in Detailed View 4. It doesn't override other tags so you should still get the original Race Tags
This sounds amazingly fun! Was it difficult to create? I have hoped to do a githianki tag for other reces to experience modded armor with githianki dialogie 😋
oh that sounds cool! This was super easy to make!! Tag Framework has all the Global tags listed under \TagFramework\ScriptExtender\Lua when you unpack it
