This mod should be pretty stable as of 1.2.1. Make sure you're using the latest version of BG3ModManager.
Double check the "Conflicts" section on the description page, especially if you're using other armour mods.
The loose file version is the most reliable brute force way to make this mod work. Just be careful about loose file mods overwriting other loose file mods.

I have a question that will this mod affect other npc? Or it will only change the characters we control? I find that other npc's clothes seems don't change
Right now it only touches the player character and companions. I may try to change NPCs as well in the future, but right now I'm not sure how. I was curious myself whether these changes would touch NPCs the first time I tried it.
I really like your mod, but I would like to see a slightly less suggestive version that excludes the very short skirts, or at least when the panties are fully visible.
Would you ever add such a version? I'm currently looking for template IDs to delete from the loose files for the most egregious cases, but I'm not a modder and it's hard work. Also, I can't find some, for example the starter barbarian armor.
Anyway, keep up the good work. This mod effectively feminizes and makes cool a lot of armor in the game.

There's now a third option to download called Skirt Mod Modest. It's a .pak file. I'm not doing another loose file version because users can just manually remove armours they don't want.
Skirt Mod Modest trims the number of armours/outfits touched back from 159 to 145. It's a quick first take. Probably there's a few more that should be removed.

I just did a comprehensive parse of all the armors in the game, and I think I got them all. List updated here. Drow Studded Leather seems to be a rebel, as it's still showing full frontal panties. I also added some that allow the pants to be removed if the skirt or cloth cover can be preserved.
I think this will be my last update. All other armors look phenomenal!
ok I took a crack at that list of yours with 1.2.1c. Armour of Persistence and Emblazoned Plate of the Marshal are two of the rare armours that include the body and the pants under the same UUID, so there's nothing I can do for those. I think that drow studded leather was using studded leather as a parent, cause that seems fixed now. I think I got the rest but let me know if I missed any.

Made it very easy to edit that and make custom armor using those added armors as a basis (they are sold in the perfect place just before entering the Lower City)
I'm not asking for you to add them, but rather interested in a resource or advice on doing it myself.... I am curious since the Elven Chainmail has pants for that mod's armor, where does the mod declare which appearance to use?

Since the Skirt Mod seems not to be working on the Elven Light Armor and Guardian Armor, but during the cutscene my guardian does wear the pant-less version, I am wondering if you could share your method, thanks!

Drow Studded Leather seems to be a rebel, as it's still showing full frontal panties. I also added some that allow the pants to be removed if the skirt or cloth cover can be preserved.
I think this will be my last update. All other armors look phenomenal!

Made it very easy to edit that and make custom armor using those added armors as a basis (they are sold in the perfect place just before entering the Lower City)
I'm not asking for you to add them, but rather interested in a resource or advice on doing it myself.... I am curious since the Elven Chainmail has pants for that mod's armor, where does the mod declare which appearance to use?

but that proved incorrect. In the future if I find armor mods I like, I'd be interested in making sure they point to your edited appearance while I'm tweaking them to my taste.
Since the Skirt Mod seems not to be working on the Elven Light Armor and Guardian Armor, but during the cutscene my guardian does wear the pant-less version, I am wondering if you could share your method, thanks!
