I tried, I really tried. I'll continue to look into it but so far I can't seem to remove the numerical overlay at the end without also removing the success/failure text. I know it can be done because criticals don't have this issue, but I'll need to do some more testing to figure it out.
I'm glad you're already thinking along those lines. Honestly, if you've already managed to remove what you have, then the overlay text and number results are kinda superfluous if you're going for the "tabletop feel," especially when the sound effects (and result) tell you if you succeed/fail anyway ... so that's a worthy mod in and of itself. If you ever figure out how to remove just the numbers and keep the success/fail, then that'd could be another optional mod for this page.
Great idea for my next Run! Cant we just delete (rename) the Sound file locally? It is not used anywhere important, so in case you know the file path I would be happy to know.
PS: there are voice mods for characters out here on nexusmods so I think overwritting that Sound cue (e.g. In a separate mod) is possible but you dont need the one to Pull it.
I actually looked into the sound calls for the individual roll actions (and also thought about shortening the hidden animation time altogether so it's click-result), so it may be easier just to blank them out instead of renaming each sound file individually. I'll give it another pass over the next couple of days and see what I can come up.
It works!! Thank you for the mod! But I would like to request if it is possible if you could make it so that all skill checks tags in convos are hidden too. It's fine if this is too much work, this is still great tho.
