The L4 extra KII standalone file was working for me in patch 8, but after the latest bug fix it no longer seems to be working. Have it loaded with BG3MM and it is activated in the internal mod manager. Not sure if I'm the only one.
I have drawn the Stand Alone Mode +6 Ki Points. In the game at level 4, these are not increased for me.
Basically, I need a simple mod that quadruples my ki points each time I level up the monk.
Since I play a healer mod with the monk, who also likes to use his ki points for other stuff, including defensive stuff, my healer monk is soon at 0 with the few ki points of the base game.
After careful analysis, battle duration, battle frequency and Ki consumption, a x4 Ki increase per level should be appropriate over time.
There are old mods here that increase the ki points by up to 8 per level up. But with patch 7 these no longer work at all. You can't even load the game anymore, you always end up back in the main menu when this mod is on.
So it would be nice to maybe give the player optional standalone mods where he can determine his own ki points per level up. x2,4,6 should actually be enough. Personally, I think x4 would be enough for me. By level 6 or 7 at the latest, the ki points should be enough for the fight, except for hard boss fights perhaps, but it doesn't have to be too easy. Then a rest to replenish resources.
Would this be feasible?
If I knew how to do it, I would make such simple mods myself, like Ki increase, or Shapeshift charges. As it is, I'm constantly having to beg around here, which really pisses me off...
been trying to use this together with the monk 5e adjustments and kensei mods, but no matter where i place your mods in my load order they simply dont show up. No extra ki nothing. Using bg3 mod manager, existing save. Have tried respeccing multiple times, long resting, saving and restarting, nothing works
ooh. I just downloaded the adjustments mod in hopes that it would be compatible with unleashed. (since in my mind, they are doing two different things) damn. I hope for both our sakes that Mharius can add some of the adjustments to their mods one day.
Wish this was answered. I'm having this problem now. The mod used to work, then after i updated everything since i last played (almost a year ago) it no longer works.
It's deleting my Flurry of blows after first level, and no bonuses are showing other than Halfling luck.
What do I need to do to get this to work with patch 7? I just reinstalled the game after taking a break from it, and a lot of my mods aren't working. Including this one. Thanks for the help!
Hey, just wanted to ask if the standalone versions don't work with multiclass? I started a new playthrough and got to char level 3 and wanted to take my second level in monk, but I don't get the extra stuff from standalone lv2 like the feat
Edit: I use "Standalone L2 - 2 Extra Ki - Extra Feat - P"
Edit2: Okay I just tried using "Standalone L2 - 2 Extra Ki - Extra Feat - Glaives" and it works now, so has to be something with the other version
Just an FYI - after much work and many tests, I found that the "Standalone L2 - 2 Extra Ki - Extra Feat - P" mod is causing 2 other mods to not show up: Mind Weaver and Mystic. No idea why but it is definitely this mod. If I remove just this one mod file, everything goes back to working.
