Hi, I won't be making more version of the mod (I have only this week to finish the game before going back to work).
If you experience issues making this mod work, please make sure that other mods you are using aren't changing the bonuses you get at your level ups or during character creation.
If you still experience issues please make sure that you have the progression files at the same path as mentioned in the description.
If you experience bugs (cannot level up/not getting feat at some levels) please post your character stats, your current level (before level up) and what feat you have selected (if any). I would appreciate if you create a thread on forum tab so that it will be easier for me to see and try to fix it.
This mod is not compatible and won't be compatible with any mods that affects level progressions. You can manually add "<attribute id="AllowImprovement" type="bool" value="true"/>" to the class levels inside progressions files of any mod that affects progressions.lsx to get extra feat there as well. Just make sure you are only adding it to the levels 2-12. You can only add it to the level 1 class entry, if it has "<attribute id="IsMulticlass" type="bool" value="true"/>" - this means it's a multiclass first level. You shouldn't add a feat at character level 1, because It's impossible to implement by just editing this config without some heavy modding (we would need someone smarter than me to reverse engineer the character creator menu)
I can never get mods to work that say drop public folders into the Data folders. I follow the path precisely. Looks exactly like the Desc. None do anything. I DL'd Vortex and it says to elevate mods which is when the Steam folder isn't only the same drive as the game install drive. So could that be the issue?
Dont know if it helps, but if u use other mods try to deinstal them. 1. delete the public folder in Data 2. delete the modsettings.lsx in appdata/larian/bg3/playerprofiles/public 3. start game without mods 4. After that only instal this mod like said, the public folder in data folder and try again.
Hi, everyone! A little update for everyone: The mod is broken for the latest patches, but you can still use it if you got the gog version prior to patch 4 (steam will force you to update to the latest version to play, unlike gog). I'm currently busy with work and won't be able to update the mod any time soon (you are free to do so on your own, though). I currently have plans to make a python version of the mod that will automatically edit the progression table, but with how little free time I have it will be done closer to the first anniversary of the game's release. In my plans that python script will allow you to edit the values to whatever you want and it will also be compatible with other mods (since you can just edit their progression tables). If someone got a lot of free time and energy - feel free to steal this idea, I would be glad to have it out of my mind xD
last time i played the game this mod worked perfectly, glad to see it was updated to work! will be interesting to see how the mod tool will affect this mod lol
anyways, i recently wanted to play bg3 again and reinstalled (clean install) and i dont have the Public folder in the Data folder. ive already got other mods installed so would be a pain to reinstall again but if i have to i will. anyone else have this issue or did i f*#@ up somewhere?
If someone wants to install the version of the mod with extra feats at level 2, then because of this, actions/passive features are missing when you start multiclassing(no action surge/no eldritch invocations/no passive fighting styles etc.)
i can't find anything about it despite searching all the comments..
is there any incompatibility reason for feats not to appear during the first multiclass level?.. i took sorcerer at level 1 and then multiclassed to warlock at level 2 and there was no feat available.
same thing happens if i try to multiclass again afterwards.
I assume feat acquisition is tied to class level and not total level, just like normal. For example, if you multiclass into four classes by putting 3 levels into each, you won't get any feats/ASIs because all classes get their first feat/ASI at level 4. With this mod, all classes get their first feat at level 2 instead because level 1 is the only level where you won't get a feat.
Might be odd, but my companions are getting feats every level with the "every level" mod, but my "Tav" isn't
Edit: "sorcerer unleashed" was the issue, but, weird, because when I first downloaded the mod it worked, but in the current version of the mod I found this issue, go figure.
