    is there any chance you'd be able to make the smite combo with bardic flourishes as in 5E RAW, ie. the action portion of the spell? this mod does something similar for searing smite https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/8199

      thanks i wanna play a bardlock with the mod for hexblade subclass and its tough not being able to do what i know is possible in normal 5e bc of some dumb restrcitions

    I’d say that as long as the saving throw each round isn’t implemented, 10 turns duration is a bit harsh.

    Then again, I can just not use this mod for now :)

      Couldn't get proper PHB rules working but I've implemented a saving throw per turn so it should be closer now.

    Guessing next modded one is Thunderous Smite PHB.
    10 turns for Prone
    Or perhaps an enhanced mod, enable the smites spells upcasting

      Smites Enhanced is coming very soon yes, however PHB rules don't seem to say Thunderous Smite does it for more than 1 turn

      It says concentrating spell up to 10 turns, yeah, kind of guides people overthinking

      Staggering Smite also has an up to 1 minute duration, yet the actual stagger effect last only a single turn. Though admittedly, Thunderous Smite is a bit vague on the matter. However, it's likely the target will use it's movement speed to get up as soon as it can anyway.

      Yeah Larian simply removed the concentration aspect for both Staggering and Thunderous, and I agree with that tbh

      Definitely some good ones in there, for sure. Also some exceptionally bad ones, like the default states of Stillness of Mind & Dampen Elements. Though this is still my favorite game of all time (I haven't played BG1 or BG2).

      Right—those two were an especially good catch on your part, kudos.

      BG1 & 2 are fantastic "old school" (and everything that implies) RTwP CRPGs; with a strong modding community to this very day. So if that's your thing, then I highly recommend checking them out.

      I definitely intend to try them at some point, but I'll need to get un-obsessed with BG3 first which is a bit of a tall order. I put 1400 hours into the game and then started making mods for it

    Missing features from the PHB rules:
    - Target can use an action to make a Wisdom check against the caster's Spell Save DC to end the Frightened condition, I'm going to try to figure this out

      Nobody's accused me of that in a long time. I have an idea that might work for Wrathful Smite, it's Sanctuary that's the really hard (or impossible) one.

      Sanctuary could maybe use some balancing, but I certainly won't lose any sleep over it. Btw, is Fear still in the pipeline?
