Hello! With the way those horns are made now it's not really possible. They share the same color ramp to save some space. Technically it's doable, but it would create a mountain of files, since there is a lot of horn/color combos. The way they are made now is the simplest and least confusing, and making all of the horns available in all glowing variants at the same time would be 100+ slots in character creation, which is not ideal
Is this an issue on my end or are horns 6 darker by default? I can’t give them a light colour at all, they always end up looking dark and if I don’t choose one of the darkest colours the horn roots on my tiefling‘s head don’t match, they‘re always lighter than the horns.
Hello! There is no issue on your end :) When I was doing textures for them I had to stick with the darker base color, otherwise they'd look somewhat not right - like they were made of plastic, or when I made them lighter a lot of details was lots. Same thing with horns nr 5 - since they had a lot of crevices. They don't go well with lighter colors unfortunately because of that yeah, but it was the best I could do to make them somewhat recolorable
Hello, I'm not sure what I'm missing on how to change the glow color... but I can't seem to figure it out. I'm not super tech savvy or anything like that. I know enough I guess lol but could you tell me how to change the glow color of the horns? Or like a step by step of your process please?
Alright, I'll try to explain it in detail First you need to localize your game folder - for steam users on Windows it will look something like this - I'm not sure how it will look with different setups. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Generated Download and unpack the GlowColors.zip somewhere and open it. You'll find a bunch of folders named after the glow wariants. Open the color folder you want to use and you'll find Generated folder inside. Copy and paste it at this location
You can do it when your game is running, just switch between horns to make the color change. You can repeat it to test out different colors by replacing the previous one
Is there anyway you plan on adding this to dragonborn? If not, is there anyway you could at least mention that it doesn't work for dragonborn?. I don't mean that in any sort of rude way and I hope that I don't come off that way, but I'm super bummed out because I feel like the description lied by omission in that there's not a mention of dragonborn I can find. I downloaded this entirely because it said that it worked for "all races and body types" and I was under the false belief that it'd work for them. (again, I really hope I don't come off rude by demanding anything, I just got super bummed out and I wanted to ask)
Yeah Same here I play exclusively Dragonborns and was pretty excited to find another horn mod. Especially for the glowy ones! Only to load it up and find that it didn't work for them.
Hello! Sorry if I misled you guys, that was not my intention at all. I changed the description so not to trip anyone else. You have all the rights to be upset, I should've put it in there right away, but sometimes things escape me ^^" Unfortunately I'm not planning on adding those horns for Dragonborns

Thank you for your hard work, attention and dedication in creating and sharing this mod!
Do you have any plans to import this mod to mod.io / in game modmanager (for consoles, etc.)?
