Did Patch 7 break this and the Background mod? I just realized none of these are working and since updating a few months ago I hadn't played a character that should have the tag removed. Still on 7 as I haven't updated but it seems weird everything was fine on Patch 6 then after updating it's all screwed up.
EDIT: Seems it was a weird load order problem and I fixed this. Backgrounds still don't work though. Tested Player not Baldurian to see if that worked, it does not.
Does this mod only work for newly created characters? I really wanted this for my wood elf ranger since it made no sense why he would have a baldurian tag and it always bothered me but after installation, he still shows as baldurian :c
Thank you for making this so much! It's just what I wanted for my playthroughs. Custom chars feel so disconnected from Baldur's Gate I cannot understand why Larian decided to add this tag by default
In what order should the mod be loaded with its support mods? I had it after Baldur's Gate 3 Community Library and Compatibility Framework, and before Tag Framework, and it didn't work. So I put it after all these mods and it still doesn't work :(
Could you possibly give half-drow the baldurian tag? Larian for some reason didn't give Half-Drow the Baldurian tag or the Underdark tag and I'd really like to have a half-drow with both the Underdark and Baldurian tags.
i am so very excited for this! i havent started playing it yet but it was just so nice to see tiefling and not see baldurian in tav's tags!
i have a question, and it might be a silly one, but does this mod work for multiplayer? like if i want to have my character designated as a tiefling but the person playing this doesn't want it such. is it a way to have it like this? or do i have to go back with pretending? [any answer is fine, of course. i just wanted to know ahead of time. thank you for this!]
I haven't tested in multiplayer as I don't play with anyone else, I'm not sure whether you're allowed to have mismatched mod lists or not. But if you are allowed to, you should be able to just have it installed for your character and theoretically won't affect anyone else. You could also try making your character with the mod installed, then removing the mod as it is safe to remove mid-playthrough. Tags are baked into the save so once the Baldurian tag is gone you don't need the mod anymore. (Except for a future character ofc haha)
If you do test it let me know as I'm curious how it works
