For some reason, I can't alter Wyll's voice with this.  Not using the all in one, and AEE works fine.

No idea why specifically this mod is causing it but its locking out options in the appearance edit mod, specifically when editing origins, they specific options that this mod blocks are Gender and Body Type. Not sure if you can fix but after trouble shooting my mods for 2 hours ive determined the conflict lies here

Sorry for the super late reply, I took a break from modding! I'll revisit this mod and make a flavour that works with Appearance Edit Enhanced too. It's because they edit the same files so I'll just need to include the changes AEE made to the Origins file. :)

WARNING this change the default voice to everyone that's origin to default, they won't be able to banter or do much of things with their game voices... worse mod I've encounter here :))

Thanks for the warning. I was wondering why there was no sound when they were bantering. Seems like it still hasn't been fixed for patch 7.

It literally says the mod does this on the front page under limitations. Nothing I can do about it. Characters can't have 2 voices assigned at the same time.

      I'm pretty sure it says:

Allows you to select one of the player voices when playing as an Origin.

Any Origin specific voice line while travelling the world that does not have a player voiceline recorded for it will be silent.
Yeah is there and this would need a upgrade as banter is important in my opinion

Oh I understand what you're saying now, yes that is a limitation of using the all-in-one version or having multiple installed. This mod has no choice but to edit the voice table the game uses which will affect companions too. I did forget to mention that on the front page so I'll add it on in a bit. I mod for myself and what I want to see in-game so I never noticed as I do not use the all-in-one version, or multiple at the same time, so it never happened to me. You can either just use the version for the origin you are currently playing (which won't touch any other companions) OR download Appearance Edit Enhanced and use the magic mirror to add the correct voice back to the companions. You won't miss out on too much banter if you go to camp as soon as you recruit someone. And download the MirrorInAvernus mod or a mod that lets you use the mirror as a spell to change Lae'zel and Shadow when you recruit them. It's unfortunate but the only way to have a mod like this.

Companion Lae'zel being edited using Appearance Edit Enhanced ->

Alas, with Patch 7 this mod doesn't seem to be operational anymore. I am not sure whether the Kitt is still around and willing to take a look into updating it, but I would be grateful if they are!

I'll look into it! I took a (rather long oops) break from modding but I'm back now so I'll go over my old mods and fix them up!

I dont know why, but this mod disables the options from Appearance Edit to modify origin class.

This mod changes all origin players voice (out of dialog) to default
How to resume the original voice of all the origin players?

Would it take too long to make this work with custom Origins like the Dark Urge All Origin one?

about the weird whitewashing you mentioned, they actually don't use unique skin tones and hair colors and all of that (if you use the magic mirror with the mod installed when playing as Tav/Durge, or in an existing save file, you can see what options they use) but for some reason if you hit 'New Game' and select the Origin characters they look like that. so the only way to fix it is to write down all their settings, though if you don't play as an Origin you don't need to worry about it at all.

I saw someone suggest that the mod resets their settings to the first option or something but that falls apart pretty quickly as they don't just use the first options, and some of them even use different colors than others do, but they all coincidentally end up really pale and blonde? And some makeup settings are completely changed to different values instead of just being reset to 0.

I really do hope that it somehow actually is some weird issue that happens automatically and they couldn't figure out how to fix it, because the alternative is very troubling

The Origin skin, eye, and hair colours aren't available in character creation, I'm not sure about them showing up with the magic mirror or not. I know they do if you have Appearance Edit Enhanced because that mod unlocks them for you to select. By default they're hidden which is why Origins default to the first colour option with this mod. It's why Astarion and Shadowheart go pink because the first skin selection for High Elves and High Half Elves is Moon Tone 1. Also why Laezel turns yellow and Karlach goes like bright white, and most of their hairs go various shades of blonde, depending on what the first option for their race is. They do keep some CC options, like they keep their face and body type and pretty sure they keep selected makeup too. It's really just skin, hair, and eye colours that mess up. Also interestingly Astarion isn't actually a High Elf, he's a hidden undead version of it so he only has his own face available for selection, whereas with Karlach, for example, you could change her face to one of the player options if you wanted. Though her own isn't available for selection without AEE (I think), so you'd lose it. It's just a game limitation sadly.

I think the only way to fix it would be to manually edit their player character visual entries to make them use player available options but that's a lot more than just removing one line in their Origins.lsx entry, which is what this mod does. And this mod only came about because someone asked about being able to choose a female voice for Astarion as they had used AEE to play as a woman but the voice didn't match. I just decided to make all the Origins on top of that so users could choose which one they wanted to play.

OH sorry I misread your note in the description. I thought you said that Appearance Edit Enhanced *caused* this issue for you (because this does happen with that mod installed.) my bad.
although I'm not sure it's true that the companions each have a unique skin tone, eye color, and hair color? they've always been available for me as options (even when I uninstall Appearence Edit Enhanced I'm still able to use them on Tav/Durge) they're just not applied on the Origins in character creation for some reason.

Yeah someone just mentioned that having AEE installed doesn't fix the issue which is unfortunate (I don't actually use the origin version of AEE so I wasn't sure, heck I don't even use this mod as I don't want to change or customise any of them when I play, I only made it as I mentioned because someone requested the Astarion version and I thought I'd include versions for all of them lol). They do have unique tones, there might be very similar options available in CC for player selection but the reason the Origins break if you make them not use their unique options is because the ID in their character visuals file no longer matches an available option. You could fix it by changing out the IDs that they use but that would take a while to do it for all 6 Origins and a bit out of scope for this simple mod, especially as this one is really designed for you to be able to fully change and customise them after.

Maybe if I have some spare time from working on some other mods I could revisit it and make it available as an addon or an update but right now I'm working on a big tutorial for how to make your own custom Origin and that's taking up all my time :(

The optional origins file causes this because it unlocks their appearances, and then, in every new game, it auto-selects the first option. I don't have a fix to this other than disabling the origins file when starting a new game, saving, and re-enabling.
