This is a great mod! I'd love to be able to play it more but I just need to play with a lot of cosmetic variety.
Would you ever consider breaking up some of the aspects of the mod and adding them as cosmetic mods separately? (Glowy markings as tattoo| headpiece seperately) Things of that sort.
I don't create mods so unsure if its even possible but would make the best of both worlds for people who want to play as Dryad but not willing to give up all the extra cosmetics (heads/hair etc)
Still a really clean mod! You did a great job, keep up the amazing work! ^-^
Hello! Just for confirmation: this mod cannot be removed / uninstalled from a save file even if it's not being used, right? I accidentally started a new game with this mod installed while playing a different race and wanted to remove it, to keep my mods for each save as tidy as possible, but it keeps crashing. I also tried using Mod Uninstaller with no success.
Of course there is a way to do that, but I think the whole point is that the mod author had a different concept. If it doesnt meet with your specific standards Im sure there are loads of tutorials out there you can follow. I know there are a few bg3 modding discords you can join that will have members who would be more than happy to help you make your own mods.
These look absolutely amazing! You look just like the Dryads in-game. I love the little leaf on the private parts too, it's so cute and lovely! The ONLY critique I have is that the new glow update on the hands and feet is too bright, I think the faint glow that the dryads have in game is more aesthetic but that is my opinion, you are free to do what you like!! I am fine with using the 1.1.3 version however, but I do miss not having the cute little leaf on the privates. I love the fire vulnerability, makes the game way more challenging since a lot of enemies use fire. Great job with this mod, you really outdone yourself with it!
The latest version seems to have way too much glow on my game, it doesn't look like the images or the dryads in the game, the hands and feet are so bright they become pure glow.
Yeah, version 1.2 has a new glow map that adds a lot more brightness to the hands and feet as well as new patterns on the body. If you dislike the new glow map you can always download 1.1.3, it's still available under old files! Thanks!
If I wanted to remove or tone down the brightness in the hands and feet, is there a way I can learn to do that? Would you mind pointing me into the right direction?
Hi, I just updated a new version of 1.2 that tones down the brightness of the body glow a bit, to better match the face.
But if that's still too bright for you, you can change it if you have some basic modding knowledge. What you need to do is unpack the mod, find the face and body glow DDS files in Em_Dryad_Race\Generated\Public\Em_Dryad_Race (called Em_DRYAD_F_Head_GM and DRYAD_F_Body_GM), open them in an image editor, and reduce the opacity to make the markings more transparent. Then you'll need to export the new DDS file(s) as BC3 / DXT5 with mipmaps to replace the old DDS file(s). Then repack the mod and the markings should be less bright.
However, 1.2 introduced new shaders that allow dryads to use scars, tattoos, etc along with the glow. Unfortunately the color of the glow is hardcoded into these shaders, so you can't change them.
So if you wish to play with a glow color that's different from the 4 subraces that exist, you'll have to use the older version of the mod, which should still be available under old files.
I love this mod so much!! I am currently on a run to romance Halsin with it! So beautiful! I wish it had support for more hair options but maybe in time, it's still a wonderful mod and I love having it in my game!

At a glance, it seems to be working just fine on Patch 8.
As far as i can tell, things work as intended after the patch and as of LVL 3 things seem to be working just fine

If you get stuck feel free to hop down to the DBTR server and I'm usually hanging around the modders-talk channel. https://discord.com/invite/downbytheriver
