Hello everyone, as of the next patch of this mod: I will be moving completely to Unique Tav dependency.
This will ensure the mod will be compatible with most mods out there and also make sure that you can also use any body texture replacement mods and customize your modding experience.
I'm sorry if you don't like this, but I would rather have maximum compability than keep getting complaints from people that their mod isn't working, or keep explaining why the standalone mod is not compatible with some mods out there.
Thank you for understanding.
P.S. I am also adding a few new tail options. No new models but some highly requested recolors.
The solution is to place this mod below unique tav in the BG3 Mod Manager mod order. This is confusing because unique tav's instructions say to place it below everything.
general rule is, always put patches below what they patch so it overwrites properly. Since this patches UT, it goes below UT. It is a bit confusing though bc it's not a patch perse, but that's why it's good to always read the descriptions, the mod author even put a picture up for it which is really nice of them.
first off, absolutely adore this mod, it's a must have for me now, thank you so much for making it! I did just want to ask if you'd be willing to make a replacer for Karlach that swapped her tail to the damaged/cut off one in this pack?
Hey! Sorry to bother with a request, but would it be possible for you to create something similar to "better tails for dragonborn", where the tail starts a bit lower and is longer, maybe without needing unique tav? I feel like playing body type 4, the tails is too short in comparison to what it looks like for body type 1 and 2. Thanks you for the work you already put into the mod.
Recently I downloaded the new version of this mod and now the tail has no movement, can anyone help me? I did paste unique tav above alt tail but still has no movement animation can someone help me?
the body on my durge (she's a bt1) disappeared, even when I followed all the instructions to download the mod. the default, twin, and arrow tails became translucent voids too. karlach is unaffected by this weird bug, but my durge is now a creepy floating head unless I put on outfits that slightly modify her body. do you have any fixes for this?? thx
Hello, I have installed "Astralities' Tiefling Compendium" but there was a problem that when I try to remove the tail, it just straightens up and without animations. When I put another tail, the vanilla one remains and a new one is added, that is, there are now 2 of them. how can I fix this?
I've been having a similar problem, as well! I don't have "Astralities' Tiefling Compendium", but when I try to remove the tail it does the same thing and just straightens and sticks out. If anyone knows how to fix this I'd really appreciate it!
I second this. The Dragonborn Tails would be almost perfect for my Draconic Sorcerer Tiefling but I can't find anyone who has added them to Tieflings for some reason.
After like a day and a half of troubleshooting I finally got this to work with Variety Framework and couldn't be happier. Thank you for making these! I'm so excited about putting an actual cambion tail now on my character once he is compatible with the tiefling race! <3

If anyone finds such a mod tell me.
