Maybe a dumb question - when using a claw attack there is small time lag between the attack animation and the subsequent damage. Is it normal? It feels like a loss of juiciness and dynamism of the fight.
This mod got me thinking, how hard do you think it would be to make a standalone mod with just the tail attack for races that have a tail? I guess the part that might be difficult is detecting if they actually have a tail (since it's optional), but I think it would make for a really fun time with dragonborn/tieflings (especially if it has synergy with monks/unarmed attacks).
OKOKOKOK here we go. ok, so, i really like this uhhhh because i wanted to make one in actual dnd ykykykyk but i never got to play her so rip anyway the problem is that i'm stupid and i'm not sure what i'm supposed to do weaponwise in terms of bg3 limitations bc of Not Your Fault things, i just am asking for clarity: is it advised to either 1) just not equip any weapons at all and use the unarmed version of the mod, or 2) if i use the weapon version that i equip either a one-handed weapon in one hand with an empty offhand or a two-handed weapon that takes up both hands? sORRY, THE LAST PART IS THE "I FEEL STUPID" PART DFGSFDG
love using it honestly my favorite subclass for Karlach. one question tho, how do you get the subclass icons to show up on the character creation menu? a.e. is there another mod that bugs subclass icons from showing?
they should just show up... the game does it natively in P7 now Likely another mod is messing things up for you. Make sure you are using Compatibility Framework, Community Library, and the new ImpUI (for action resource custom icons)... and nothing else that messes with the UI during character levelup screens
Hi there, great mod. I saw that the original barbarian yell was hard coded in the base animation. Is there any chance for a version without the custom animation? The base animation would go perfect with races that already have claws/fangs. Thank you!
So... noticed you said races that already have claws/fangs... one thing I have not tested nor considered is stuff like Tabaxi... that opens a bit of a weird rules thing ... what race are you building with?
Dragonborn durge going full evil route. Want his base form to be as close to the slayer form as possible. And figured it'd be perfect since they have fangs claws and a tail already.
I've been keen on trying this subclass on Karlach, partly due to a bug on the Soul Coin buff she gets that causes the bonus damage to double when she makes an unarmed strike. Although I have a question: Seeing how the Form of the Beast feature is implemented in the game, I take it that there's no way for me to gain the unarmed strike bonus from equipping Corellon's Grace while still being able to use the natural weapon?
I’d have to look at how that staff’s butf is written - the beast attacks (if you’re using the unarmed version) use an unarmed attack roll but do not do the unarmed variable damage that the game implements because the beast attacks are a set damage value and not a sliding scale. If the staff specifically tries to affect the games unarmed damage variable then it won’t work no
Awesome mod, I made sure to endorse it. I did want to ask though, if there was anyway to have the original Barbarian roars when activating rage? The sound made instead of that for this class is really the only downside :/
