Planning on working on "Song of Rest" next to use some kind of Pokemon Center melody from the video game. Maybe from the X/Y versions as that has a string instrument that stands out from the melody which could work out for the Lute/Lyre.
There is already a mod that does this and uses (I assume?) the same song. Since there is no video preview of what this mod looks/sounds like, could you explain the differences? Everyone is just blindly trying out the mod otherwise.
Well, I feel sheepish. lol I swear I didn't see that post. I typed "Bard Music" when I searched Nexusmods and that did not show up. Then I just typed Music and it still didn't show up. Now I see when I search it only searches titles.
The song I went with was the Eng Anime Opening theme song. I couldn't provide a video because I don't have any screen capture programs. (unless i don't actually need one and Windows already has something built in that I am not aware of?)
TBH, I would rather let anyone else take lead on this anyway. Like I said in the description, I am just a straight up amateur at this. I kind of don't know what I am doing. I will discontinue this mod and promote Evo's. Thanks for pointing this out and I apologize to everyone for any inconvenience I have caused.
would you mind doing a version of Lugia's song for us flute using bards? all these replacements are cool but it looks weird to start playing the flute and a guitar song starts up haha
Hey! Thanks for making this, this has peaked my interest in changing out the songs on my bard class. I was trying to put a new one in. When converting to WEM, make sure to use the Vorbis Encoder. If you are going to be doing this frequently, I would suggest that after you set your Conversion Settings, to save your settings when you exit out (of course, delete any imported audio files before you save so that they don't load every time you launch your project) so that way, any new sound files that need to be converted it can be as simple as "Import Audio File..." and "right-click and Convert..."
Here is a screenshot of how to navigate WWISE to set the Vorbis Encoder. The Video Guide I saw recommended adjusting the Quality slider to 10.
As for your sample, that is 1:55 long. If you are going to assign it to a Performance song, the best one to assign it to is 230164766.wem. When you equip a Lute and play 'The Power' it should play normally. If you assign it to any other Performance Song, there will be a bit of silence after the song plays. That's because the vanilla file that is playing silently underneath is still not done. But when it is, it will loop back and play your replaced version again.

Check the Optional Files. The Digimon one has actually two WEMs in there. One for each OG opening and they are both guitar instrumentals. I have more details in the TXT file that comes with the download.
If what you actually want is a non-immersive one, provide a link to a sample of which version you want.
