I'm a real Noob with ReShade ... and now this is the second ReShade I have trouble with: I can install it, but there is this information (Tutorial skip / make whatever) and if I want to skip the Tutorial the game crashes ... if I want to continue the game crashes. Yesterday was BG3 patch 3. And I have ReShade_Setup_5.9.2
Workt fine a few times ... than I tried some other ReShades ... they worked fine, too. I uninstalled them, I re-install this one again and now ... I press Pos1 and ..... the game crashes all the time, again and again, when I click on "Continue Tutorial" or "Skip Tutorial".
I wish there were clear videos on how reshade works, I have the .ini file selected but it tells me that no .fx files were found and that I need to set paths or something. When I try to do that it doesn't work so I'm just confused.
During the installation of Reshade, did you select the depth-reshade.ini preset? It would have installed all the required .fx shaders. Alternatively you can always just install all the .fx shaders during the installation process. This will also make it easier to swap out custom presets from other users.
Mods do not work = it is not clear how to put and do what exactly where = there are no videos. According to CyberPunk in Mods, there are no such problems, but here you can’t understand anything at all. minus.
My assumption is that developers opt to use a warmer tone as it is closer to the Adobe wide RGB Gamut (standard) and I guess it is easier on the eyes (Less blue light). Again, it is only my assumption but like yourself I'm not fond of the warmer tones.
It shouldn't. I use reshades in mmo games (and really, every game I play.)
I'm not the techiest person, but my understanding is it's all post processing, so it's the equivalent of having one friend playing on ultra graphics and the other on performance settings
The game will inform you it has been modded on launch, but should not impact the COOP from my experience. I use Reshade in most games I play with friends as long as the anti-cheat software does not block it.
Great) I just turned off Levels.fx (the light was too bright, next time I'll turn it up higher) and raised the gamma by 5. The game feels completely different
Cheers mate. Every monitor is different with regards to contrast/brightness/gamma. It's not uncommon to tweak the reshade a little to dial it into your monitor. Thanks again :)
