The requirements list Improved UI as "probably needed," so is it needed or not? After this week of back-to-back updates, I want to avoid mods that rely on Script Extender...
My D&D character just got a sun blade, so I'd like to have it in BG3, too. 😅
ImprovedUI doesn't require Script Extender. I list ImprovedUI as probably needed since I don't know how my mods will work without it. In this case probably fine, but better safe than sorry.
Thank you for making a custom weapon that isn't over powered and unbalancing. I wish I could get a simple +1 long sword with, say, +2 radiance for my dawn knight, or a simple mace of disruption with a couple points of radiant damage for all. How hard would it be to give the Blood of Lathander the disruption effect. I suppose there is no existing code for that particular effect, but could it be simulated?
A Mace of Disruption looks doable with some tinkering, I'll add it to my to-try list.
As for overpowered/unbalanced, honestly I think this thing is a little too strong lol but I decided I'd rather make it as PHB-accurate as I could rather than as balanced as I could.
Well, another sun sword mod has similar base damage, along with stat boosts, automatic healing, and the weapons level with the character. Compared to that, this is a decent mid game item.
I like the idea of implementing PHB weapons and armor! Looking at dndbeyond there is opportunity to create more also. DnDBeyond PHB Weapons
I also think it would be a fun idea to implement Homebrew items re-balanced for BG3. Not sure if it would be beneficial to make weapons that could be beneficial up to levels 20, but at this moment the unlock level curve mod 13-20 have over 1million downloads so I'm sure there are interested parties. DnDBeyond Homebrew Items
On another note, I do think that adding the general BG3 weapon actions would be beneficial even though DnD doesn't actually have weapon actions like BG3. I noticed because the Sun Blade only has lacerate on it and is missing Pommel Strike and Rush Attack which all longswords have.
Honestly I just really wanted to use Power Hunger but thought it was way too strong in its default state, and since the creator made it easy to edit I just figured it out from there
I believe the only class where the short sword proficiency would matter is the monk? Pretty sure every other class that gets short sword already has long sword anyway. Assuming that's the case, I think there's an option where a weapon counts as a monk weapon? I'm no modder though.

Also I've made a Mace of Disruption, check it out :)

As for the weapon actions I deleted them since they do fixed melee damage, and won't do the radiant damage of the sword. It just bothered me lol
