New versions available! Shar's Eternal Night and Selune's Full Moon added!
As requested, I have now added the original unnerfed versions of both Selune's Moonlight and Shar's Nightfall. Instead of simply uploading the original files, I went and created new UUIDs for both of them, as well as given them new names so that both the regular versions AND the unnerfed versions can be installed together without conflicting with each others.
These new versions are completely bonkers, as they were originally thought out to be used with mods that make the game way harder. The new versions both have more damage, more spells (check the pictures tab), and all the spells that had a "once per long rest" cooldown now have a "once per short rest" cooldown.
They are, just like the regular versions, found in the Nautiloid's tutorial chest.
-Fixed a typo in the name of the Selûnite Weapon Box.
-Added an uncommon version of both weapons and adjusted the enchantment levels to make them follow the game's tier system, with Legendary being +3, Very Rare being +2, Rare being +1 and Uncommon being +0.
-Removed all special characters from the mod folders and .lsx files to fix the installation issue for non-Mod Manager users. Newbie mistake, sorry!
Hi Can you add this mod in console please? I always want a legendary greatsword with the model of the "Sword of Justice". I see the images and I love it.
Great timing, I am already working on something for that! Since others have asked for it, I am making longsword variants of these swords, they'll have the versatile property and so will be able to be dual wielded with the "dual wielder" feat! They are gonna come some time next week, and are gonna have their own mod page :D
Yes, and the unnerfed if possible just for therandom player who wants to use it but also using a couple of difficulty overhaul mods? Scimitar would be perfect in that case too
gonna start working on a couple things then: going to add a couple more variations of these two, and get to the Longsword versions as well (going to make a whole new mod page for those, as to not make too much of a confusing mess in the files tab of this one).
Got the weekend coming up so I am almost certain I won't be able to get everything done by this week, but by the next one for sure; as I wanna make sure to properly test everything.
Got also a bunch more ideas for some other mods as well, so there is gonna be a lot more coming in the future in the regards to other weapon types.
they are in the Nautiloid's tutorial chest :D You can use the "tutorial chest summoning" mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/457) or, more simply, use these UUIDs to directly spawn them in your inventory with Cheat Engine: Shar's Greatsword: 7df3dd90-8e2e-4853-b0f7-ec2b8e2b9763 Selûne's Greatsword: 18f5fffc-7579-4be2-9ecd-983b5141cda7
it's almost certainly the "û" in Selûne (or possibly even the apostrophes), the character was also giving me issues in the merged.lsx file and I had to just use the regular "u". The mod works in game when installed with the Mod Manager thuough so I figured not much issue, apparently not! Thank you for notifying me, I am already working on an updated version, I'll remove the special character AND the apostrophes from the mod folder name, HOPEFULLY that will fix it! Super sorry about this! Give me a bit to test everything and then I'll update the mod!
Edit: Done, can you try now and let me know how it goes?
would be great if you could add a white/holy light visual effect to Selune's version and a dark/shadow visual effect to Shar's version! other than that, great mod! also was wondering if you could do a longsword version as well? <3
That would be super cool I agree, will try and see if I can find any info on how to do that, not confident enough to make any promise at this time however xD As for the longsword versions, that is definitely something I can make promises on however! Basically these same weapons but as longsword? Same abilities and passives?
yep! I do believe you have to add the versatile type of weapon though if I'm not wrong, just to make it better overall. And I do believe there is a guide on here as well, but I'm not confident enough to mess with mods, much less with someone else's, but no pressure at all, just throwing out the idea there since I love this mod <3
yeah no worries, I started looking already a bit and I already got the versatile property figured out :D And I found Shivero's tutorial, so I will start tinkering with the visual effects to see if I can get something done with that, fingers crossed ahah.
They both look identical, as they both use the model of the Sword of Justice, I'll add an extra picture in the media tab right away. I really REALLY wanted to give them a more distinct look but unfortunately I have no idea how to edit the 3d models yet :/
I actually hadn't seen that library before, that's really interesting...! I am gonna start looking into this asap, and hopefully I'll find something about model editing eventually, I have looked for it a bit but without much luck so far.
I suggest you go to https://discord.com/channels/98922182746329088/767804218819477515 and ask for help. Also DM orochigago_229 and ask him if he can help you, he does weapons models.
Thanks for the mod!! This will be perfect for my Shar follower playthrough ^_^ If you end up making them look unique in-game someday as well, I'll really be looking forward to it :)

Hope you all enjoy!
What did I change:

I'll enjoy the new game for the tutorial box right away.
You are the best.
Some wrong in CompatibilityFrameworkConfig.json

Thnks... Have a good work 😀
