I created this mod for Baldur's Gate 3 and posted it on Nexus prior to official mod support. I have no desire to rework it in the new format being used by the official mod manager, but I have received a number of requests to do so, especially from console users.
As such, I am posting my mods on github for any enterprising modder to fork and take over in order to make the conversion and handle the publication of them as you wish. They belong to the world now.
Dear author, please tell me, the mod does not hide an unstable shield (an illithid skill when it became a semi-illithid) is it not originally in fashion or does it not work with patch 7? I use a mod manager. I don't use the manager inside the game
Question in the description when you say all or nothing do you mean I don't get to decide if I want one character to hide a shield while having another character with a visible shield? I would ideally like to hide my main characters while giving a heavy armor knight Ally a visible shield purely for cosmetics but worst case I will take no shield over nothing just want some clarification on it. Also thanks either way really hate seeing shield on my MC's in games but rarely can do much about it.
Is VisualTemplate the only thing you edited? I'm trying to add in a standalone invisible shield, but when I set the VisualTemplate line to the same as in your mod, the game cant read my load order at all.
EDIT: Turns out the VisualTemplate line had nothing to do with my issue. Thanks for giving me the idea in the first place =)
I have it in the middle of my order. If you have anything that also changes shields below it they could conflict. Also which shield are you seeing? I pretty much have to this shirld-by-shield so there are likely some that snuck through, especially some of the enemy shield shapes which I wasn’t focussed on.

Would you mind creating the same mod just with wearing invisible shoes/boots?
Because that way you can hold your staff like a real wixard does, upright and resting on the floor.

Thank you for your answer, and for the mods you share !
