Hi there! having fun with your class! it's early on still, but I just observed a funny bug duing my playthrough in act1, thought i'd come here to post
I tossed shadow word: pain on the hag the turn before she teleports away to her lair. when combat ended, the hag still had this debuff, but it seemed to have infinite ticks; I just sat there in the first room through that fireplace and she died after a few minutes.
I love this mod so much thank you. I love playing a healer in games and I always get to heal every turn. I just notice that it is a little laggy. Is there any way to fix this?
I do feel this sometimes, but it isn't "lag". There are however a few spells where visually the "healing or damage should happen", but the numbers and enemy/ally reactions to dmg/healing are a second or two behind and not toally synchronized. I'm not one to nitpick mods (especially this one, as I do love it), but just some feedback.
Also do hope you're still adding to this pack. I exclusively play priest in wow and this mod is a gem. So many possibilities for growth too. Could I suggest some of the utility spells for priest? Shadowfiend, Mind soothe (blindness), Fade reaction (threat reduction or disadvantage), Psychic Scream, Shackle Undead, Mind Control, etc?
Thanks for the kind words, I'm a big priest fan too! Yea the animations don't always line up, and I'm not sure why that happens!
I have moved mainly to the modtool, testing is a ton faster with it. The only downside of the modtool version is the icons are BG3 icons since it's on console too.
Good news - Shadowform is in the mod at level 12 and Mind Control was added to the modtool version!
The other utility spells are a good idea and quite a few people have asked for it! I just released another class (Truenamer not WoW related) and will probably come back to Priest and get some of those spell added!

I came back to bg3 in prep for patch 8 and was bitterly disappointed to see you've removed the wow icons, it killed any desire i have to play it to be honest.
Howdy! Sorry to hear that - the Nexus Mod version should still have the WoW Icons. The mod.io one doesn't because there is some Copyright issues that are against the ToS to have on consoles.
hello mod maker hope you are doing well and hope the holiday season brings you well and many blessings i have a small favor to ask is it possible for a optional file or could you tell me how to do it myself if possible to give more holy power love the class but im playing my game on a higher diff where enemys can attack multiple times a turn (some enemies like bosses or elite mobs) and having only 5 holy power to work with kinda limits my battle plans i know there is regen options but its not enough rn sorry for being selfish and good day
Hello! It's been quite some time sorry! But Closer to the Light and Angelic Aura both increase Holy Power.
It is certainly possible to increase it yourself though, if you are comfortable unpacking and repacking mods with the multitool it's not that hard of a change. You can change two things: 1) More Regen: Unpack the mod->go to \Priest v2\Public\Priest\Stats\Generated\Data -> open "Passive_Priest.txt"->Replace the top passive with the below ->repack and reinstall

Cannot say otherwise yet that this mod is incredible! You really nailed the Holy Power feature imo and it feels so smooth to play around with it <3 Can say that for your other mods too, since i'm currently doing a WoW Class-run lmao.
Hello! I'm really happy to hear you like the class! I love priest and one of the main reasons I haven't responded is because I started playing War Within over the Holidays...
Any chance we'll see some specialized gear added in for the class? Not much in the way of items that boost the healing or shielding aside from the items that actually give you spells like healing word, cure wounds, etc. Been rocking uncommon items for a while cause most of the items I've come across don't really benefit the priest with the way it works (no concentration or spell slots for the items to help with). Though i will admit that renew with the ring that gives blade ward and bless is amazing lol.
Would love to see some that are geared towards each specialization but i know it's a lot of work so was just curious if it's a possibility.
Howdy! Sorry to say I'm not planning to make any items. I'm working on a Truenamer class right now which will likely take another month or so, but maybe after that(?).
I seem to recall, also looking at the files, that Power Word Shield used to add the debuff Weakened Soul, preventing it's recast for a few turns on the same target. Is that still a thing? I see some of it left in the files but I'm not sure it's working for me. Maybe it was a feature of Priest1.0 and didn't make the cut for this version? If so, I'd love to get it working again, got time to offer a few tips?

The mod.io version adds Weakened Soul. I've moved over to mod.io mainly so that version gets most of the updates!
