Why make this mod?
The first time I raided the Grove while playing Durge, I picked up the Idol of Silvanus the first time to discover that it had a passive aura. While I thought that was neat, I was severely disappointed that the Idol of Selune and Idol of Shar didn't have auras when I found them later. I've been trying to figure out how to implement similar auras for over a month.
Isn't there already a mod that does this?
I was about 80% done when IndecisionIncarnate released their version. After reviewing that version, I decided that they took their design in a different direction than mine. I don't like the idols you get just before getting to Act 2 negating a main story feature of Act 2 (the Shadow Curse). My auras are more intended as quality of life improvements. There are numerous ways to have Speak with Animals, Detect Thoughts, and Speak With Dead available at all times, but it is tedious to recast them after every long rest.
How does it work?
Idol Auras
At it's most basic, the 3 idols mentioned above grant all characters in 8m the benefits listed simply by carrying them around. One can carry all 3 idols to receive their benefits at the same time.
Deity Blessings
If you don't want to carry around the idol, or if the idol isn't granting the aura because it was spawned before you loaded the mod (see Known Issues), you can Right Click the idol (either in the world or in your inventory) to select Commune with Deity. This will grant the idol normally granted by the idol directly to that character. You can then put the idol away and retain the aura. Any character can only have one Deity Blessing at a time, but you can give different Deity Blessings to your companions so you can have all 3 auras without carrying the idols.
If you use Commune with Deity from a different idol while you already have a Deity Blessing, the new aura will replace the existing one. If at any time you no longer want the Deity Blessing, you can use the ability Dismiss Blessings (the icon is an idol pedestal without an idol on it).

Where can I get the idols?
Idol of Silvanus
Idol of Selune
Idol of Shar
Tutorial Chest
Lastly, I also put a copy of the idols in the Tutorial Chest. If you don't want them that early, then resist the temptation to take them. But this is a way to get the idols if they already spawned in your game without the aura.
Known Issues
Idols Missing Auras when adding the mod to an existing game
The aura on the idol object is determined when the item is spawned into the world. If you add the mod to an existing playthrough, where the items are already spawned, they won't have the aura and may not have the Commune with Deity option. If that is the case, then I recommend spawning the Tutorial Chest and grab a copy from there since the object will be generated when you spawn the chest therefore should have the aura and Commune with Deity options.
But I never picked up these idols or sold them

Compatibility
Edited Objects: RootTemplate of the 3 idols and the Silvanus' Blessing boost
Will conflict with any mod that modifies the items above in Edited Objects. Other than that, the auras and boosts are new records and shouldn't conflict with anything.
Installation
Files are package as .pak file and ready for use by a mod manager. Recommended to install via BG3 Mod Manager.
