Could you maybe make a version that's not a replacer and instead an addition? That'd be actually pretty nice. Just a thought, no pressure. Also is there a way to install these with Vortex somehow so it doesn't require a manual install? I'd like to add them to the mod collection I'm working on.
Edit: Figured it out, here's how you do it if you want to install this through Vortex: - install it normally as you would any other mod - double click on the tattoo replacer mod - search for Mod Type and make sure Mod Type is set to BG3 Loose (make sure your pathing is set to Deploys to Baldur's Gate 3\Data folder) Vortex SHOULD default to this, but you do need to make sure that it's set up correctly for the installation to work.
You can do the same for any other mod that needs to install directly to the Data folder manually.
I'm a beginner modder for BG3, but I downloaded the unique tav file and it's coming up as a dds file (for Gimp), and it's not importing into BG3 mod manager, can anyone help?
these are absolutely gorgeous, i can't wait to use the many-eyes tattoo for a durge playthrough! do you have any plans to make a non-replacer version for patch 7? (if the mod update actually did make it possible to add new tattoo/makeup slots, that is)
I'm having issues with some mods not just this one. It keeps saying symlink and it isn't compatible with the file system. Only hardlink mods are downloadable for me. Is it because of the type of file downloaded or is it because it was made to be symlinked(softlink) only and not hardlink?
I did some research too and it seems that hardlink is for a better connection to the game itself but slower load I think. I'd take that over symlink if it means I can download the mod and use it but of course this is what I'm forced to decide. Sadly I cannot just put my game in an NTFS drive as I do not currently have ANY space reasonable for bg3 to reside and my passport, my external drive, works just as well as a port for my main C: drive so it's really twisting my brain. I'll come back and try downloading again once I've gotten a fix but I'd prefer availability for all file systems. Jeez what a hassle...
