Not sure if it's partially bugged on patch 8, but I'm noticing that the bonus action* from dealing non-cantrip fire damage no longer works as before. It gives you the extra bonus action pip but it's already empty so you don't actually get another bonus action on that turn.
Edit: Okay so, if you use your bonus action, and then deal non-cantrip fire damage to trigger the feat and gain a second bonus action, that bonus action is unusable. But if you trigger the feat as above before using your bonus action, you'll be able to use the bonus action and your first. It wasn't working like this during patch 7, I don't think your bonus action gained via the feat should care if you've used your first so I'll call this a bug.
Please fix the DC for this mod, it says it should scale of your spell dc but as far as i can tell it either it only scales off wisdom or is just defaulting to 8 which is utterly useless past act 1 and isn't even useful in act 1 with any difficulty increasing mods. You/your companion fall prey to it more often than enemies do because you take damage from burning yourself (or from heat when using the other mod) so much that you inevitably burn yourself.
Also, just to add, love your mods and than you for the hard work!
Found a rather deadly interaction with both of the fire based feats bouncing back on your own companions. I put all of your other damage based feats on a character, and when they burn themselves, they also do all of the other damages as well. Now that may not be a huge issue with higher health pools, but when Gale fires off 6-8 Magic missiles, he easily wipes himself out in a turn. Super funny
So if possible could this feat have the self burning portion removed?
These are amazing to add a little spice to the game play. Was wondering if, like you did for the cold feat, could add 1 Damage on Attack to any of the feats that require the specific type of damage to proc the feat itself? was wanting to see how much damage I could get out of hand crossbows and magic missiles with all of the damage feats combines. Thanks
