Single Proficiency potions currently support for shields, instruments, all armors and martial weapons from my weapons mods: Longswords, Longbows, Pikes, Rapiers, Glaives and Halberds.
I'll add more single martial support, but not in short time as all of them can be access by sets or heritage potions.
This mod would make so much sense for a dark urge play since Bhaal technically made you from like a thousand blood sacrifices so more than likely not from the same species or background lol great work!
Bro, this came in clutch! I absolutely CANNOT play as any other class besides Sorcerer as a Dragonborn whilst having the "Dragonborn Ancestry" in order to have those sick color patterns... but I also want to be proficient in medium armor, so this mod is perfect!
Is this mod safe to install and just use one potion and uninstall it? I just regret not picking human for civil militia and dont want to restart my whole character.
It isn't. The proficiencies even the base game ones like civil militia, are granted by a hidden status the potion apply, thats why uninstall instruction indicated that you must use the potion of oblivion to get rid of the mod proficiencies.
Loading a save without the mod with mod proficiency on a character will have unfound data and will fail.
The mod is very little intrusive, you won't randomly found potions from this mod or anything like that, just a container in the indicated places so your best option is leave it installed, use the potion you want and ignore it forever.
Arron in emerald grove isnt selling the potions after i installed the mod. Does the mod need to be installed before character creation? I tried long resting in case he needed his inventory reset but stilll doesnt have it.
A long rest is needed after enabling the mod for the trader to restock but if you already make it, have in mind that the potions should be inside a crate in the trader inventory.
If the crate don't appear and you have take a long rest must be a mod conflict, try lowering the mod in the load order.
I doubt it will be possible, normal proficiencies are granted by progressions list and I don't think there's a way to remove it than edit progressions itself, wich have a lot of compatibilities issues and will affect everything.
The ones in the mod can be remove because I add them through a hidden status, the potion of oblivion just remove that status.
Would it be possible to make a potion to go with the guns from the artificer mod? Or is that automatically covered by the potion that grants all proficiencies?
Can't really tell because I never used it or saw how it works.
If they are martial or simple one of those will work, but the mere thing you are asking makes me think they probably aren't.
But that something you should probably ask the artificier mod author on the firts place. If they didn't make the weapons usable by diferent classes (something that will be as simple as add them to martial or simple group) there's probably good reasons for it, either they don't want or even technical issues.
ahh if that's the case then it probably doesn't cover them, they are technically martial weapons in game, but they aren't covered by fighter's/paladin's/etc usable weapons
I think that I just download everything you make because I see Elven/Drow Weaponry, I click and download. Do I think that I need this? Not really. Will I still download it, yes.

If not that, you have some mod editing default merchant tresaure list
Well, that is mostly the intention other than just cheat, give a way to RP whatever canon you have
Thanks again!!!

Do you think it would be possible to make an item that removes proficiencies? It might come really handy in some use cases.
