I love it, I've been looking for a head for my gnome and this one has so much character! Just one thing I noticed that I'll keep testing with her, some hairs especially custom ones just slide off the head during animations. It may be something on my end, not sure, but I wanted to report it. Thank you for this lovely head!
definitely not just something on your end! i put it under known issues - it was a lot worse initially 😅 but i shrink-wrapped the scalp and tried to get any and all hairs as close to the head as i could. i think because i sculpted it pretty heavily, it's smaller than the game expects a head to be, so slides around somewhat. if i have any further epiphanies, i'll be sure to patch it!
I checked the rigging on this head in Blender and it looks fine. I also put it through Larian's Mod Toolkit, which released with Patch 7, and the floating hair issue is still there. I think it might actually be the animations that are assigned to it - do you remember which gnome head and skeleton you used as a basis? There are about 5 of them, and I suspect the Coralie head might be rigged to a different skeleton than Coralie_base has. If so, then they would be running animation sets from two different base gnomes, and that is fixable in the toolkit.
Thanks so much for the mod. Glad to see vertically challenged races getting thrown a bone for once lol. I feel obligated to play one since none join your party and by not making one you miss out on their unique animations and stuff.
BTW I saw this already under known issues but I do get a LOT of clipping with the hair im using (its just a mashup of vanilla hair) in some cutscenes, other cutscene its fine. You can see an example here.
She is adorable, and inspired me to make my first gnome (an artificer! I think she makes a perfect Grumpy Nerd) I really love her, thank you for sharing the preset!
Question..... How did you change the "base"?? I am trying to make a head on my own, but I cannot seem to export it correctly.. the head stands askew.. and looks so weird... I really hope you see this, or others in the comments are able to help me out.
