    This mod finally completes my ”doing stuff as if from a summon” trilogy, following Echo Knight and UA6 Invoke Duplicity.

    Unlike the previous two, which I’m using constantly, this one I mostly implemented for completeness as it shares a lot of its
    code with the others. I won’t make much use of the casting functionality myself, which means I won’t find obscure issues.

    Make sure to report any issues here in as much detail as possible, or they probably won’t be found and fixed.

    Hi, I have a question. Druid Wild Shape Overhaul and 5rDruid give the animal form the ability to use Cure Wounds. However, it cannot obtain the magic close to the familiar from Familiar Casting and Fixes, but it can obtain changes to its healing amount from other mods.

    Do you have any clue about this?

      Just so everyone knows. I've tested it with Patch 7, it works as is. Also the Help via Familiar.

    hi there, just wanted to let you know that if you have this mod enabled and you drink from Auntie Ethel's well, when you get the Nauseated debuff from your next long rest, it wont get away the following long rest. it stays on you. idk why your mod would affect this, but I removed mods in my list one by one until I fixed the issue and yours was the one that disabling it fixed the Nauseated problem.

    This mod sounds amazing, but I can't seem to get the toggle to show up. I installed it and the help mod. Checked for it in and out of battle with a Raven and Mage Hand. I have quite a few mods, some of which involve summons, but I imagine they're most of the usual suspects like Dread Overlord, Valkrana, etc. Not sure which of them might be causing the issue or really how to test it besides perhaps making a new character adding mods one by one. I've tried a few places in the load order. Any thoughts anyone?

      if you're using Better Hotbar 2 and not using Hex, Call Lightning, or any other re-castable spell then you wouldnt have noticed there's a known bug/issue where the recast hotbar doesn't show up at the right until you expand all the other bars fully to the left.

      1.3 versions have re-cast/metaspells panel integrated in (main hotbar panel). You need to initiate shutters to make it work properly. Don't forget to re-initiate shutters on every character for versions 1.3+

      Hmmm no Better Hotbars as I mainly use controller. Thank you for the suggestion though, it doesn't hurt for me to check there. If it's helpful, I tested on both controller and regular. Couldn't find an icon to add to the radial menu either, which I thought would probably be there if the mod was working for me. I could be totally wrong though.

      Seems like if it's not hidden somewhere then it's probably just a conflict somewhere, but idk what it could be. I wouldn't think a mod changing Mage Hand, for example, would make much difference as long as it still has the tag. No change to Raven I'm aware of, although maybe to Summon Familiar somewhere. But your explanation does have me wondering if it's a UI mod conflict rather than a familiar-related one

    Love this mod, though can't get it to work with Tara or Artificer homunculus, even after playing with the load order. Is it because they're tagged as something other than what familiar's are tagged as?

    Able to cast Booming Blade (5e Spells mod) from familiar, not sure if that's intended or due to the way the spell was coded

      Not intended - there’s logic in place to specifically prevent it, but apparently I made a mistake somewhere, or something’s changed to break it. 

      I discovered it myself a few weeks back, but didn’t get around to investigating, and now I’m afk for the month, so it’ll stay in for another while…

    does any one know how to make the spells originate from the wildfire spirit or familiar? im not seeing new buttongs or anything. i know the mods are loaded because shovel takes an action to summon and there is the cast from familiar passive.
