Larian in their infinite tweaking decided to change the music during this climactic moment in Astarion's story. Luckily for anyone who preferred the old version, the original song is still in the game files, so I extracted it and turned it into a replacer. If you don't want to hear the orchestral version of "I Want To Live" after convincing Astarion not to go through with the ritual, this mod is for you.
Known Issues: Because of the way BG3 handles music files, this replacement song will cut off abruptly due to being half a minute longer than what the game is currently expecting to play there. When I tested it, this only happened if I lingered for about 40 seconds on the first dialogue prompt after the death scene. In some of my tests it sounded seamless, possibly due to the game transitioning to a similar piece of music after you select a dialogue option there. It does not cut out during the death itself or the emotional moment immediately after.
Installation: Loose files version: Place the included Data folder in your Baldur's Gate 3 installation folder.
