Is it possible to have different bonuses for the Subraces?
Shield Dwarf needs some mechanical advantage, but the additional armor/shield proficiency options for all dwarves means there is even less reason to pick that subrace.
Thanks for the quick reply! Bear with me as I have a few ideas...
I would say add Carry Weight for all dwarves.
I think Shield Dwarves specifically should get Shield proficiency with one/two other bonuses with a defensive/armor focus suited for a Dwarven Defender - which I will let you pick (based on your thoughts on balance as well as technical difficulty/compatability). I think the main problem with the vanilla Shield Dwarf is that any class that should be wearing armour will get this proficiency anyway.
My 1st preference would be to add the Defence fighting style (if this won't mess up class progressions/other mods). This would offer something to most classes, while fighters effectively get a free style (non-stacking).
Add the Blade Ward Cantrip. This could actually be useful when your dwarf can't reach the target.
Relentless Endurance. While Half-Orcs have this too, dwarves won't get the offensive Savage Attacks passive. Maybe this could be limited to wearing Armor intended for more martial classes (not wizards, monks etc)?
+1 Strength to make up for the ability score loss compared to other races in the final release.
Heavy Armor Proficiency (but not with options #1 or #3 which will be the most powerful)
If you have some spare time figuring out a Second Wind ability for a Gold Dwarf would also be great! Or maybe they could have just Light & Medium Armor proficiency.
Apologies if this seems like a lot to ask. I have no idea how difficult it is to mod these so I've given a few options.
I have most of the "unleashed" mods installed, and it appears that the Dwarf, Gnome and Halfling mods are not working...I'm assuming nothing has changed. Any suggestions as to load order or any thoughts as to why these two might be affected? Thanks in advance for any help...
LOVE the mods! I am curious though, I've been having an issue since I installed where my game is super clippy.... does it need to be somewhere specific in the load order?
sorry for the goofy question, but I've seen you add a lot of standalone files to your mods. I can always assume that if it doesn't say standalone, it is not, right? So I can't mix and match any of these?
After playing the Duegar with their level 5 invisibility- it's hard to play any other race. Could we get a variant that adds invisibility to the other races?
Hi, i was wondering if it could be possible to make a stadnalone version for the proficiency with all armors and shields ? Thanks you, have a nice day.
Yes, and without the additional proficiency, i repect yours mods as they are and how you create them. I prefert to repect the spirit of races and the game, and having extra carry weight which is a human trait with +1 proficiency is somehow feel like being out of the Dwarf's race identity. Even if in base game Dwarf doesn't get armors proficiency, adding this to them feel more roleplay as Dwarfs are known to be great blacksmith.
Im using the Mod Manager and it tells me that "Toughness Incarnate", "Versatile Armor Proficiency" and "Dwarven Sight" are duplicates of each other, and is not loading the later 2 , something im doing wrong? Its the only combination of submods i can use to avoid "Adventure Time", dwarfs should have short legs ;)
Me again with more combinations to ask about this time it's the Additional Carry Weight, Additional Proficiency, Light Armour Proficiency, Medium Armour Proficiency, Heavy Armour Proficiency and Shield Proficiency

Standalone - Shield Dwarf - Triforce, providing Shield Proficiency, Relentless Endurance, Fighting Style - Defence
Thanks you, have a nice day.
