I added this mod along with mod fixer and now several things are broken. Minthara is talking about the Emperor being an Illithid even though we havent got to that part yet, fights dont stop even though all enemies are taken out and now clicking on the bed roll to long rest does not do anything. I removed the mod and everything is working again

I'm not sure if it was this or Mod Fixer that did it. But my save seems to be soft bricked. I can't interact with anything. First time installing a mod for BG3. Only had this and Mod Fixer, saved order, ran game, loaded save. I can cast spells and stuff but i can't interact with objects or talk to anyone.
I'm quite confused- this is one of several mods I've tried dowloading to get rid of the illithid visuals. I downloaded into BG3 Mod Manager, moved it from the right side to the left, and launched my game through the Mod Manager. However, nothing about the appearance changes and there aren't options that I can see in the magic mirror. Am I missing a step? Can someone help?
First off, thx for the mod: great work! Would it be possible to have the face effects or body effects removed alternately? So, effect on face but not on body and vice versa?
P.S. - I use your Immersive UI mod as well, which is amazing! Again, thx!
I tend to turn them off because I either get overwhelmed with the amount of comments, or just not want to deal with the influx of bigoted nexusmods users.
But, just in case folks are interested in only removing the Half Illithid visuals from certain characters (or do it relatively mod free for Multiplayer), this "Mod" by Refinedocelot provides the console commands to do it as well.
Thanks for the half-illithid removal option, Aether. Glad there is a more up to date removal method as I'm always worried older mods may no longer work as we keep moving down the patch line and I'm sure there are tons of folk that'll be happy to lose the effect. I myself will not be able to benefit from this since I actually like some aspects of the half-illithid transformation (ie. the raised body/face veins) though I would prefer they be toned down from vanilla rather than outright removed so here's hoping the old "tone it down" mods still work for me when I get back to the half-illithid point again. *crosses fingers* Fab work, all the same and always glad to see what you have to offer! =)
