Hello there. If you like to know, I just started playing a new playthrough yesterday. I bought it from Dammon, and the rings have functioned normally so far.
can someone tell me one merchant that gives this box of rings because i just want to test if it works in shops and i cant find it. i already looked with arron in act 1 and in the wizard shop in act 3
Hey! So sorry I missed this! If you're using the sellers version you should be able to find them with Dammon, Volo, Danthelon, Bareki, Helisk and a few others.
I'm gonna be honest I entirely forgot that people used Aaron as a default merchant. I forget he exists. Oopsies.
Super item, excellent mod! Not only is the roleplay sentiment very nice, these have saved my butt already several times in a ton of ways, so thank you for that!
I have a couple of questions:
The bat form from the Vampire Lord ring doesn't seem to have a fly ability listed and I was wondering if that was intentional or if something else is going on? I play with a controller normally and it doesn't show up on the wheel, nor is there an option to set a slot on the wheel for it while he's polymorphed. I checked the keyboard/mouse version too and don't see it there either.
The Consort Ring's Raven polymorph has weirdly very slow regular movement, as if moving in difficult terrain, (the flying speed is fine) and I was also wondering if this was abnormal. (Nevermind, figured this out, lol. Heavily encumbered because the sudden STR score drop.)

The fly ability not being there is Larian's doing lol. For some odd reason they didn't include fly on the bat polymorph. If I go back in and edit the abilities I'll definitely add that. Tbh I didn't even particularly think about it until talking to another friend about their Astarion mod lol

Has anyone had an issue where this mod affects the piercing damage from Astarion's bite action? It may be interacting with one of my other mods though.

seems like you translate english from a black & orange website (of course I mean nexus, or what else could it be?) to chinese and then translate it back with google lol
HAHA Just a translation joke in Chinese. Some English phrases can be turned into something that deviates from the original meaning by machine-turning, and then we have to correct them by consulting a dictionary or changing sequence of words. Then we liked to speak like that on purpose :D
Is there any way to package just the rings but keep Rhapsody's description as it is. I like the description because it provides sordid insight into Cazador's background, which is next-to-nothing in-game.
Okay, so, technically, there is, but I don't feel entirely comfortable with uploading another version just to add the text back. However, you still have some options!!
Try and remove it yourself. You've got my full permission to edit it and play with it however you want.
Get a friend to remove it. If you aren't tech savvy maybe a friend is.
Ask in the Larian discord modding channel for someone to edit the file to be just the rings. Again, here is permission to play in the file, have fun.
Message "hauntedsock" on discord. I can edit the file rather easy and send it to you there, I'd just feel a bit weird with myself adding a new upload just to add mentions of that topic back after I removed it. A file I upload I have to look at all the time, a minor edit I send over discord, not so much.
Just assume the lore to be true anyways. This is actually what I do. I don't actually have an issue with the lore existing, I just personally didn't like the way it was implemented. Maybe another diary or something would have been more tasteful to me, but it wasn't something I really wanted to see every time I looked at Astarion's main hand weapon.
