There are no models yet because I am not very talented at that sort of thing. Everything is there mechanically, however.
The mod is still a work in progress, and right now it uses the elven models. If you want to see my horrible attempt at modeling, try using face 1 with the skinny male body. Its pretty bad lol.
I just need someone to make the models, so if anyone wants to offer to make them, please let me know I'd greatly appreciate it.
So this mod packs all the features of the warforged. But lacks models for it and just uses drow models. Well I would say honestly your doing a better job than the only other warforged mod. They have almost NONE of the features. and just put a mask on a drow and covered them in reflective paint. then called them a warforged. So I would say your doin a good job mate. like others I would suggest using the automaton model as a place holder for now. but the features work at least.
Is there a reason this is using Wayfarer's Guide to Eberron (which was essentially a playtest) instead of the actual release version of Warforged from Eberron: Rising from the Last War? If not, could we maybe get that version as an additional subrace eventually?
Sort of. Firstly, I wanted to have subclasses. Secondly, I did use Eberron: Rising from the Last War also, like I took the +1 AC from it. Also, If I just left it at what that variant of Warforged has, it would feel pretty lackluster because of how BG3 works. I can only kind of implement Constructed Resilience (BG3 doesn't care about ability to breathe, drink, eat, and there are no real diseases [I don't think?]). Sentry's Rest just doesn't work in BG3. So really all the warforged would have had was poison resistance, +1AC, and 1 skill and tool proficiency
You could possibly use the mechanics of the high elf not needing to sleep/mediation mechanic to replace the Sentry's Rest. Diseases could be replaced with poison damage resistance/immunity.
Hi! i mean a version that's exactly like how this mod is currently lol. i actually came back to say again how much i love this mod as is, even though i know most people would rather have a custom model
Perhaps use the automaton models for now? Could work better than elves although I am not sure if they have animations for every action in the game. Anyways you could always use that as a base, rescale them to have the same size as humans for example and perhaps add a few animations? Just an idea ^^

(I have no idea how they are supposed to look, neither if adding skin colors is trivial or not, just throwing it out there as an idea)

But I do think they could use a Metalic Skin Option, or at least used the Automaton Model
