This mod has a dependency to Plus UI. If you don't want to use Plus UI or want 2x speed instead of 4x then get over here: Faster Rolls Quartered I would like to do a 2x version, sure. But the process is annoying and I do things manually since I'm not good at coding/scripting so I rather recommend his mod for that use case.
Is it possible to use both Your mod and the Faster Rolls Quartered mod and let it overwrite yours to get his roll speed but your no delay? Not sure if "Overwriting" works like that with modding this game.
Oh.............................................................................................. I immediately was going to say it didn't but yeah, it does. I can make a version that does not require it fairly easily, let me know if is desirable. It won't remove the delay after and before the rolls but it will speed the die animation and do everything else that is on the description page.
No worries, I don't mind using the main mod! I just didn't see the dependency mentioned anywhere (aside from the mod's name), so I wanted to be sure. Thanks!
I totally forgot I made it dependant (and corrected the information), I did so because if something changes in the vanilla file due to a larian patch there is a chance the patched changes will be picked without breaking the mod - that way I don't have to do emergency updates on new patch releases.
Nah, I like Plus UI and think of installing more of your mods. I do think that the dice rolls are too fast, though, so thank you for linking that one! Although I'll prolly just get used to your version since speeding up the insertion widgets is very convenient. :D
Check pinned. I can't do it I think... There are a lot of entries to change. I would like to but I remembered Caites showing me the mod I pinned just now not too long ago.
What does 'combinations via insertion' mean? Is it alchemy or just generally combining combinable items? If it is for combinable items, does it speed the animation before you see the resulted item?
Insertion panel is the one in the forge on the underdark for example. And there are likely other examples (I don't know if it affects alchemy) but the "insert" panel also has a function for combining items which have a success and failure rate which a modder will likely use at some time (because Larian doesn't or because Larian nest the insert panel into alchemy and combination but I'm not sure by reading the code). I did feel the alchemy results where quickened but I didn't actually test properly.
In game files (for modders reading) you can place up to 1-3 items on it, it will roll a dye and on success or failure do an action to the items.
first of all thanks for your mods. my question would be if the optional file from "plus UI" which also states "faster rolls" is irrelevant now or rather that this mod here "replaces" the optional file from "plus UI"?
thanks in advance <3
edit: sorry the decription answered the question already, BUT maybe remove it from "plus UI" in that case so its not that confusing. cheers!

Probably a silly question, but - does this mod require the main file from Plus UI?
