Hi! I've made a pair of glowing horns for personal use, as well as some slight re-coloring textures from the Custom Horns collection (the horns I used before the glowing ones). I was just wondering if you would be ok with me uploading them? I will credit you in every way possible and won't take any myself, since I have basically just mashed together assets from various places. If you don't feel comfortable with it, I understand completely. I tried sending a DM, but it was denied.
thank you so much for this :) its massively helping me with learning how to mod, im currently trying to add some cool glowing text to the mizora horns uploaded by another creator and its working except the base skin/texture of the horns isnt included with the mod, ive tried indexing the games files with the multitool but i cannot find the textures responsible for her horns except for a msk, any idea what they under?
you should be able to find those here: Textures\Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Models\_Creatures\Cambion\CAMBION_F_NKD\CAMBION_F_NKD_Head_Mizora\Resources not sure if it's possible to use this template to add glowy parts to these horns because they use skin texture maps, which aren't accepted by the shader. you might have more luck using this method instead: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1O0V8DNr9GgX2sSXZEry36MCX2y9w1DWjRmQ0zLqmb9c/edit?usp=sharing
its copy-pasted from an old guide of mine I wrote up quickly, so not elaborately explained - but this would apply to the mizora horns the same way
Hi again, is there any possibility you can make an accessories _merged.lsf template? Like how horns are added into the game, but like adding in standalone assets that would go on the head? It would be a huge help as I can't iron out what goes where and what all code you need from the modder's multitool index to get things to show up.
edit: okay I completely misread this, but that's not what my template is for - I recommend looking at Druu's template or the like for that since that'd technically be armor
fair warning that these won't really be usable right out of the gate, unless you like having horns that have giant letters saying "YOUR DESIGN HERE" pulsing in a multicolored glow :^)
I'm no modder, but I can see how helpful this is to everyone and so I wanted to leave a little thank you here on behalf of all the people who get to profit off of this in the future! Looking forward to more mods being able to implement nice icons thanks to you c:
