Unfortunately I haven't touched BG3 in over 6 months and I believe there have been multiple patches so if it's not working then it likely won't be fixed.
No, it should work fine with existing saves. Have you also installed the additional mods under 'installation requirements' on the description page? If not it might be worth installing those to test.
Unfortunately yes, I just tested it by creating a new game and they appear in the Tutorial Chest. It may just be me, as I use a lot of Mods, but starting a new game just to check if it's solved the problem with the vendors, I prefer to leave it for another new Campaign. I translate Mods into my native language, Brazilian Portuguese, would you grant me permission to share the translation on the site?
Hello again, I'm having problems translating your Mod after the change to Script, I don't understand much about programming and the best result I got was two overlapping windows, one translated and one not, annoying bug although it doesn't interfere with the use of the Mod. The only Mod that I realised the creator managed to make translation easier for us translators, overcoming the barriers between Translators and Programmers, was this one:
If you understand enough about programming and can replicate this solution, I'll be able to translate your Mod again more easily, so I humbly ask if you could try this change.
uh, when I try to create a Superior HP and have more that three Greater ones, it creates one, sure, but doesn't deplete my Greater HPs (Kinda useful xD But too cheaty)...And when I have 3 GHPs it says that I have an insufficient amount of them
Hmm that's the second report of that I've had but still not been able to replicate in any of my attempts. Hard to fix if I can never get it to happen.
Out of interest, do you run any other mods that make changes to potions? Where in the load order is this mod? Try moving it to one of the bottom ones if not already.
Now that you've mentioned it, it wasn't a problem just a few days ago, so IG it's some other mod's update...tho I don't have other mods for potions. this mod was almost at the bottom of the load order
Just now I got back to Advanced version, and it works as intended, so I'm confused as to why it suddenly stopped working in the latest version XD Some mod's update my take
Is there a version where I don't need an empty bottle??? Like can't I just combine 2 lesser potions to make 1 greater potion like in normal video games? I don't think that is too cheaty to me since potions are widely available.
I'm not sure what the issue is. The empty bottles are also widely available and sold from numerous NPCs and have infinite uses. If anything, it's almost *too* easy to get empty bottles of Supreme Healing since you get them as early as the beginning of Act 2. Don't even need to wait till Act 3 for those lol.
Or if you don't want to simply buy them, they are available in the tutorial chest (which is how almost every single dye, weapon, clothing or armor mod distributes said items too).
The empty bottle is needed as the "activator" (in addition to just making sense from a realistic point of view, you can't just pour a full bottle of liquid into another full bottle of liquid lol) so the answer to your question is "no".
Its not really a matter of money or availability. Its just annoying to combine something as simple as a potion using more than 2 ingredients. I mean, if you are unable to even make the option available mod wise as you mentioned an "activator" is needed... that's fine. I see what you mean about realism though. oh wells. thanks for the explanation!
As the game doesn't allow you to include custom recipes (yet) an activator is required. Prior to learning the scripting language this meant you had to manually perform a bit of work.
The latest version, however, removes the need for doing anything and just allows you to double click the empty bottles and will then do everything for you (combining the relevant potions and creating a new potion).
They are available from certain vendors. Also available in the tutorial chest so they can be summoned that way if you use a mod that lets you summon the chest.
For a list of vendors check the description page under the spoilers section.
Nice mod, very useful! Was wondering if you could make a way to craft in bulk. I had something like 80+ potions and it took a boring while to craft all them into higher potions
So I've spent some time reworking the mod. You can't yet loop it so it creates them all in one go but it's much easier now to upgrade the potions.
I've released a beta version where all that's required is to double click the empty potion or to right click it and click 'consume' and the corresponding potion will be created assuming you have enough potions to craft it from.
I love the new method but I thinks it could be a little bugged: If you craft the greater healing potions while having a single stack of potions they don't get used, basically giving you free greater potions
Hmm interesting. I've been testing with only a single stack and not had the same issue. I'll have to do a little more testing. Thanks for the feedback.
Just a quick question, did you have other party members? If so did it take potions from them instead? The way it works is that it will currently look at all characters potions and use them. I'm trying to find a way around that but I'm also thinking of potentially leaving as is so you don't have to keep moving potions around to craft the higher potions.
Tried a different campaign and still not seeing the same issue as you. Are you running any other mods that may affect potions? I wonder if there's some sort of conflict.
It may also be worth moving this mod to one of the last ones in the load order. I have it second to last in my run list, only my tutorial chest summoning mod is below it.
If anyone else reads this, if you have the same issue please let me know.
Ah sorry, now I get what you mean haha. Yeah it's like the advanced version. That will probably be the only version going forward. The other version felt too much like a cheat personally.
Thank you so much for the Advanced version! I have sooooo many potions (I loot *everything*) but the basic version seemed too cheat-y to me but I love the Advanced version!
This mod is amazing! Always had problem with stacks of little pots I could not use in act 2, while they kept on stacking even in act 3. This mod is super cool! Thank you! <3

And does it happen all the time?

I’m wondering which way v4 works :)
It's effectively a new way to do it.
So it’s scaling :)
