    I have been scouring Nexus and the internet for a mod that allows your full Illithid to return to human form. Because, the Emperior can do it (illusion or w/e), why can't Tav? I wanted to experience the full mindflayer arc but not be hideous 100% of the time. Half the time is a godsend! Can't wait to DL this. :)

    Does anyone know if there are compatibility issues with mods that remove the half-illithid visual changes? I'm using Normal Half-Illithid by Cloweeee (link below) and just wanted to make sure that the changes in IPO2 wouldn't conflict with it or, even, add its own visual changes that would make NHI redundant. Thanks!

      You can absolutely use a mod changing or removing the half-illithid visuals.

    Hello! Recently, I've encountered a problem with “Luck of the Far Realms” not always triggering. After loading save or leveling up it indicates “Reaction is unavailable”. I've tried different loading order of this mod, but nothing helped :( 

    Any tips on how to fix this? Otherwise, the mod has been great and still is!

      Hey! There is a toggleable passive that controls if the reaction is available or not, I made it so it's easier to control than to navigate to the reactions menu everytime. Toggled on means reaction is available.

      I've tried using it, but whether it's active or not, the ability to use the active part of the power doesn't work

      As in vanilla, there is still a cooldown on it, if you already used it you need to rest. Also when you use it you get a malus to crit chance instead of a bonus when it's available. It's meant to really be used when clutch, and left unused the rest of the time.

      I can confirm I'm having the same issue and no idea how to fix it after trying everything. Luck of the Far Realms is NEVER available no matter what the passive toggle is set to or how many rests you do regarding the cooldown. It's the same on a bunch of my characters I've unlocked the passive for - the toggles are all there fine, but the reaction is always showing an unavailable error and you can never use it. Have any others not experienced this?

      It seems to work fine, maybe it was an issue of not performing an actual long rest. I've heard using the potion or EasyCheat doesn't replicate it perfectly, and in this case, aren't enough to refresh the ability.

    Heya, about the mod requirements. Neither Better Various Widgets nor Better Character & Party Panels seems to available anymore. Noticed the description for BC&PP said it was a disabled feature anyways. Is it okay to just skip these two mods now? Thanks!

    EDIT: Okay, so the page for Better Widgets loaded randomly. Nexus is being weird about whether or not some mods are actually available.
    EDIT2: Jesus, okay. So both mods are still available on Nexus via Google search. But clicking the actual links on the Nexus mod page results in "not found". Great. Sorry for taking up space, lol.

      Hey, I have no trouble finding them in the search menu, so idk what's up here...
      Anyway, BCCP used to be a requirement for a cut feature, and BVW is recommended but optional. As stated in the requirements section.

    Do you lose the ceremorphosis action after long resting?
    I lose it the next day before leaving camp to baldur's gate.

      Changing acts can do that, but you can recast it at all times.

    How does this mod works with Custom Hirelings? If I infect created characters with tadpole will they function properly?

      I don't see why it wouldn't work, as long as that mod uses the same system as the other characters.

    Love the mod, and just decided to do a new run with it, and I swear this gave you the emperors illithid form, and I see the optional mod to retain the old illithid form for the player, which I did not install but I am still getting the player illithid form instead of the emperors? not sure what's goin on there :c

      I don't know if they do, but I suppose the best thing to do to keep playing the game with mods right now is to roll back to patch 7, until Larian delivers a 8.1, fixing ImpUI.
      If you're on Steam, you can do that by going into the game properties, in the betas section, and select patch 7. I'm sure other similar platforms have an equivalent function.

      Patch 8 includes a fix for various things ImpUI was needed for and apparently there is already a work around on Nexus if needed. I dont know what as Im just looking into it myself. All better mods have already been updated for patch 8 over the last few hours.

      I'm busy on other things besides modding these days, so I won't be updating my mods immediately. If I have to. No report yet.

      I have been testing today, the better stuff was updated, (better hotbar 2) but when you load without impui, it doesn't appear to do anything. So not sure that is qualified as patched. :) 

      Still looking for the "lite weight" impui that has been mentioned in places. If anyone has found it, please share.

      I think the lite weight version is on the same Nexus page as the original ImpUI. The mod author added a note to the description explaining and posted a new file dated for April 14 called "ImpUI Patch 8 slim". I haven't tested it though, as I just started looking at updates for my mods.

    Awesome mod, nice mechanics, only downside is i can not turn into a displacer beast anymore but the other stuff mostly makes up for it

      It made no sense to me so I removed it, but if you want you can still have that power with console command
      Osi.AddSpell(GetHostCharacter(),"Shout_TAD_DisplacerBeast")I'm about to upload an update to this mod, as well as two new related mods, one of which allowing you to summon a displacer beast.
      Consider tracking if you don't want to miss them, I'm still polishing and testing everything.

      thanks for the command. andthere is alredy a mod that  lets you summon a displacer beast althought that one is pretty op. by the way can you tell me  what value i need to change so i can cast more than one  black hole per fight, because in drawn out fights it would be nice to get another one

      I believe freecast is the real casualty here.
      Any chance of seeing it reworked instead of replaced?
      The versatility of being able to replace pretty much ANY class resource for the right price keeps tickling my tactical fancy.
      Domination is one of the more fun kinds of effects out there, and beats plain old boring damage on most days of the week, but I don't think it's a worthy replacement for freecast's potential.

      Not really, I am content with the current state of the mod. However, vanilla powers haven't been removed, they are just not accessible through normal gameplay (since they are replaced in the brain selection menu with the new ones), so you can still get get Freecast by console command.

      Gladly, I was thinking of augmenting the effects of some powers, like giving damage powers the ability to increase the damage output by + the manifester modifier (intelligence in the case), giving the wearer a power per short rest to ignore resistances, increase the disciplines effects duration. Called it: Psionatrix. (you can give +1 DC when used by a Mystic)

      Create a use that connects a friendly companion to recieve buffs that the Mystic is having at the moment or let the Mystic manifest cantrips as a rapid(bonus) action or increase the number of entities targeted by the power/cantrip.

      Make creatures that are charmed by the mystic to not be hostile or angry after the duration expires. Give access to some of the (stronger) Illithid powers without consuming any tadpoles (depends on the item in question), that would be interesting and very good for lore scenarios.

      Concentrated Blast be used without breaking the user concentration.

      Can have an effect for the armor to have a reaction to form a shield in front of the user that increases the AC +4 for the duration of the manifesters level or intelligence modifier.

      Create a metapsionic usages that are per short or long rest that increases the output by 50% or to transform the power in an AoE.

      Give a ability that makes the enemy even when saving from the discipline power, to still suffer the effect by a lesser duration. 

      Make a set give the Mystic wearer an immunity to some mental effect like charmed or frightened or manipulation.

      Or double any bonuses if the wielder is a Mystic hehe, anyways thank you very much for these items, they are already very awesome to use but I`ll say that a glove or a ring that makes cantrips or single target powers increase the enemies targeted would come in hand or makes that every power deal half damage when save against it.

      So make it synergize with the class?
      I'm not interested in doing that, and of all classes that would be candidate, Mystic doesn't sound like an obvious choice to me. 
      Thanks for sharing your ideas though. Feel free to make such a crossover and share it with the community, I'm sure others would like that as well :)
      This mod doesn't add items so I'm confused with your last paragraph. Maybe you're referencing another mod?

      Yes, I had both of your mod pages open, I meant to comment in the Emporium. Btw Mystic is the only lore-friendly class that could have synergy with Illithids.
