I think you may be able to do this - can you please create a mod to add the Balduran Giantslayer weapon (with Giant Form skill, lasting until long rest) into the potion chest thing inside the Nautiload? I'm hoping to use it at the very beginning of the game and i've been searching for hours for a mod like this.

So just the standard giantslayer but with giant form until long rest? Sure I can do that, but just saying, this is not hard to do. It took me like a couple hours to figure out how to make these mods. If you have other specific mod ideas, try it out yourself! Ask in the bg3 mod dev chat in the Larian Discord for help

oh I just noticed there were new files added! Just to confirm, is it the optional file? Not the old main file?

Thanks again! After using it for a few hours, I was wondering if it'd possible to adjust the giant form skill so that it only lasts up until a short rest, rather than a long rest? I do like being big but I think doing it until a long rest is a bit too extended/long haha

lol i knew this would happen. I can try but I can also make it a concentration. there will be an icon in the bottom left that you can click and itll remove the transformation. which do you want?

Haha apologies! I use a controller to play so we don't necessarily have that click function available. Are their Amy other ways available? I think whatever you choose will work great!

This is what I found for controller:
Open the radial menu for the character that is concentrating and navigate to that spell. When hovering over it, you’ll see options in
the lower right corner of screen. It shows to hold ( Y ) down to cancel concentration.

Thing is I am trying to find a trigger to remove the status on short rest but there isn't a single spell that does that

hmmm, interesting. I'm certain that option doesnt exist for me for some reason. Odd. Would you happen to have any other suggestions?

You 100% have the that option... Look at the red outline. You have to be concentrating on something. It'll show up when you activate the spell.
Imma upload the concentration version because after asking for help they gave a solution that required creating a passive and adding that to the status. Too complicated.

oh interesting! So do you need a concentration spell of sorts to have that option pop up on the bottom right corner? Not sure if I have one as a barb. Maybe I do!

Yes. And I mean it is better if you dont use any other spells that require concentration so you can just stay concentrated on the Enlarge spell deactivate it whenever you want. That way the concentration doesn't deactivate on the other spells use

Please tell me, maybe you know in the game there is a Shatteered Flail, Location: The Risen Road, Dropped by: Flind (The Gnoll Leader). His passive ability Yeenoghu's Gift: Hitting an enemy with this weapon heals the wielder for 1-6 hit points - but they can go Mad if they don't continue hitting an enemy each turn. How is it prescribed in the game files? I whant add it to mod

So the best way in my opinion to find items is using the UUID as thats exactly what you need. Sometimes the name is different. A great source for many UUIDs is bg3.wiki (links to shattered flail). A better list of UUIDs is available on fearlessrevolution. If you look at the first post there's UID/UUIDs for various things. Once you have the UUID or UID you can search for it by using the indexing feature in BG3 Modders Multitool. If you need any other help direct them to the Larian Discord in mod dev chat.
