Hi all! I just released v2.0 of the mod, bringing the number of dyes up from 11 to 23. These new variants, called the Nocturnal variants, feature the main colors of each dragon on a black base.
I also noticed the accents colors on a few of the dyes were very bright and garish, and as I was going through adjusting those accents, I realized a few of the dyes had strayed from my original design idea of monochromatic dyes for each dragon. Namely, the blue, white, green, and gold dyes. These four dyes have been noticeably altered from their original 1.0 appearances and are now prettier (imo) and more in line with the mod's intent. The rest of the dyes have received small tweaks but are largely the same as before. Overall, all the dyes should now look better than before!
However, if you prefer the original colors of a dye, fear not, for there's a new file in the Optional Files section that contains all of the dyes in their 1.0 versions, without any alterations. It can be downloaded alone or alongside the main version.
Thanks to everyone who has downloaded the mod and used the dyes! And thank you to those of you have uploaded pics! I love seeing people's Tavs and Durges rocking the dyes <3
These are beautiful. Thank you so much for creating these dyes, it's just what I needed! I could never find the right mix of color with black, and you've done it wonderfully here. 💖
Works for me on Patch 7, hotfix 28, single-player, and alongside all my other QoL, UI, Cosmetic mods (~50 total, DL'd all early Nov)... PC, Win10, using BG3MM (unless any mod description/etc says to do manual install)... Thank you very much for this mod! <3 ... Love having both regular and nocturnal versions, they all look great!
When I try to uninstall the mod, I've deleted the dye items but neither let it being inactive in the mod manager nor just moving out of the mod folder helps, it makes me completely unable to load the game unless I put the mod back, just want to know why...... ok ignore it i find out sorry
I thought I had all the dyes I need and only downloaded it because I love dragons and draconic heritage. But man... those colors are awesome. Amazing job, kudos to the author.
I'm using only a few dye mods but with yours + others combined it can get a bit messy at some vendors' inventory, so might as well try asking for a different delivery method-feature ;).
Yo, I wish to make some treasure table patches which exclude items from all but the tutorial chest, but also add them to Withers via the Trade with Withers mod. I do so in the interest of reducing vendor clutter and providing a more cohesive experience for users of my collection Difficulty, Immersion, Quality. This mod is one I wish to include, naturally the patch will only contain a modified treasuretable.txt file and reference the UUID(s) of either containers holding dyes or the dyes themselves in a .lua file for use with Trade with Withers. All mod files I wish to patch are required for the patch to function, I hope this is something you're okay with!
hello, i downloaded the tut chest version but the dyes still show up in shops. granted, i only checked the druid guy's shop but they are undeniably there. any idea why? not saying it's your fault, and i did check the treasuretable.txt and there was only a section for the tut chest which is why i'm so confused and gave up troubleshooting. maybe a mod maker would know better. maybe it's because i installed the mod on an ongoing save?
Ohhh Bloodstained Gold Dragon, where have you been all my life?!*
These dyes are DELICIOUS, thank you so much for making them!

ETA: would you ever consider a Bloodstained White Dragon dye, in grey and silver with tiny red accents? I'm thinking of a certain pale elf and how good that might look on him... :3
