I've encountered a super weird thing. Fantastical Multiverse Legacy gives a dhampir that's half elf the trance but the Astral Elf doesn't get it.

For anyone wondering: yes, this works after Patch 7.

Now that the mod tools have been released, I wonder if it's possible to adjust the mod so that it works on all elves/half-elves, and not just the player character? I know that Lynstence mentioned that they weren't able to figure out the animation sets that are linked to companion characters, but I wasn't sure if that had changed or not, because of the mod tools???

Hey, I like this mod. So much so that LillyBird and I included it in Listonomicon. In fact this lore-friendly fix was the first mod that I demanded we include!

"Listo" is a Wabbajack-powered mod list, that works almost identically to Nexus Collections but uses a community alternative to Vortex to help users download mods from Nexus, put them in the correct order, and prepare their game to play. No mods are repacked, stolen, or distributed directly - users are still directed here, just like with Collections, to download from your Nexus page and ensure you are given the proper download credit.

Due to confusion over what Wabbajack is and what it does, users at the Down By The River community encouraged me to give a courtesy "heads up" to the authors whose work is included in Listonomicon. And to assure them that per Listonomicon's install instructions, users are explicitly told to direct their bug reports issues to us first as mod authors (like you) don't want to deal with being inundated with help requests or bug reports from users with 300+ active mods.

You can read a little more about our project on Github, though the preferred way to access Listonomicon is via the Wabbajack gallery. A list of all included mods are here. A synopsis of the philosophy of Listo and what we are trying to accomplish (and avoid) can be found in our Whitepaper on the first two pages, and is elaborated starting page 17 "List Philosophy."

If you have any concern about your mod being included in Listonomicon (which is still downloaded from this page, and credits you as the author), please send me a message via Nexus's PM mail. I'm not sure how to get notifications if someone has replied to a comment.

Great mod! Can I ask how there's a displacer beast in your camp though? Lol, assuming it's a mod of some kind

It's added by DisplacerPlayerRace, a hireling in this case.

Just look up displacer on Nexus. There seems to be one person making displacer mods at the moment and it's yours truly :D

Question... What are the odds of being able to link this to a human body since they're so similar to elves body type wise (not making an animation from scratch or having to rehook this animation to a different sized frame).

I really like the idea of a monk run but, I can't help but notice you can't meditate. I know it's a minor thing but, it'd be cool to be able to set up a meditation spot with a bed roll and sit lotus on it in camp. Everyone else gets a tent.

I get that I could roll a drow monk or something but, I was sort of hoping to stick to the stereotypical human monk that struggles with their practice, or someone a bit more surly like the Bodhidarma. It'd make a great Durge run.

Instead of having their animation isolated out the way elves do, pretty much every tall race shares human animations. So, putting the file in to replace humans would be kind of weird, because if you go to bed as a half-elf/githyanki it might apply. But you can still give it a go if you'd like. Open up the mod and name the folders and files as according to the below:
      ElvesSitToTrance\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Anims\Humans\_Female\HUM_F_Rig\_Construction\HUM_F_Rig_LIE_CINE_CampSleep_Longrest_Loop_01.GR2

      ElvesSitToTrance\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Anims\Humans\_Male\HUM_M_Rig\_Construction\HUM_M_Rig_LIE_CINE_CampSleep_Longrest_Loop_01.GR2

I've not actually done this, but it should work.

*If you need some help getting into the files, this might help: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/articles/247 But just drag the .pak into the blue box in multitool.

My strong drow lady would also like to rest by meditating, anyway you gave me a reason to play bg3 with new characters body 1. Great job, if you ever want to return to the addon and add strong bodies - a thousand thanks!

Strong bodies weren't playable in early access, so there's no animation file for them. Actually making animations is beyond my abilities, I'm afraid.

Oh, I didn't know these details about early access.  Thanks for your answer and happy new year!

THANK YOU! I was bewildered as to why they removed that animation in the first place, I thought maybe it was some glitch. The EA version was so amazing, but in full release, it just looks so silly.

Oohh I'd hoped someone would do this! I never played in EA, but I loved this so much more when I found out it used to be in the game.

Big thanks for the mod! It's such a delightful throwback to the early access days and I've always found that animation more cool.
