If you find any bugs or issues please do report. I tested all spells and both items but there's so much to this game that I could have missed.
If you enjoy this or any other mod I make I would appreciate any small donations to my KoFi you feel able to make so that I can keep creating things for this game we love. Any small requests just feel free to ask and for larger class requests I'm often available for commissions if you contact me via discord at Skyeborne
i finally understand how vortex work but , i have the mod fixer , the instrument of the bard and the lslib/ divine toll and NO trace of the mod in the game ? why
I have moved the Lyre that was dropped by thorm to the chest with the poisoners gloves behind him in the house of healing. Unfortunately while I investigate further into what caused this your two options would be to reload to before Thorms loot table was loaded, and I am honestly unsure how far away/back that is, or to kill art cullagh and use speak with dead on him to advance the quest. In future I will be sure not to touch important loot tables and if I find any other solution or cause I will reach back out to you immediately and am deeply sorry for this issue
As I said in the post you are responding to I had fixed the issue and stopped touching all important loot tables the same day it was brought to my attention.
This mod is fantastic and something I've wanted for *ages*! Thank you for putting it together; it's given me a missing piece of my TTRPG bard that I wanted to bring into BG3!
Now I shall wait with bated breath in the hope of seeing the Ollamh Harp make its debut at some point in the future
If I, or someone else, ever figures out how to implement the needed spells I'll add it in a heartbeat but the resources just don't exist yet unfortunately.
That said very happy you're so excited and hope it lives up to your hopes!
I am just ready to start a new game as a bard. I have low willpower, and if I take them out of the tutorial chest, I can almost guarantee that I will use the most powerful one right away.
My question is...If I leave them behind in the tutorial chest, can I still find them one by one out in the world as I progress through the game? Thanks.
I haven't tried the mod yet, so I don't know if this is already implemented. But would you consider also adding musical proficiency to our characters with these instruments? Like how Musical Proficiency from Instruments did.
Ok all of the instruments grant proficiency though it did unfortunately not fix the sound issue, so while everything works no matter what character you use you won't get the musical casting sounds for the Instruments spells if the character is not a bard.
Interesting! I've only ever played a bard, and just started a sorcerer. So i don't know what it's like to not hear the instruments. lol. Guess I'll find out!
Just FYI, lyres are a type of harp, they're just smaller. Harps aren't as portable as lyres, being supported by the base of the instrument on the ground, but they are played the same; plucked with the fingers and no fretting. The main musical difference, historically speaking, is that lyres were tuned to a single key/mode (to change keys/modes, one had to retune the instrument) whereas harps are chromatic (able to be played in any key).
If I were to mod harps into the game, I'd use a reskinned/remodelled lyre (perhaps with twice as many strings) keeping the lyre animation set but use the lute audio instead to more accurately represent the musical differences between the lyre and harp.
I've never modded for BG3, so I don't really know what is or isn't possible here, but I wish you the best of luck. I'm gonna give your mod a try regardless.
I have double checked and unfortunately none of the missing spells are currently in 5e or I would do so. If that changes I will update accordingly but thank you!

I also can't load my save if I remove it.
So this broke my game. :(
