    I really wished I had found this earlier. If you are using patch 7 and using vortex, this will not work for previous games or new games. You need to unpack the .pak and delete the story folder and repack it. It will work after that. There are misleading posts saying it works for patch 7 with 0 details. If this helps you, consider giving me a kudos.

      Could you be a little more specific please? I am sorry but I am a true noob in these things and need more directions. I need more details like which folders I need to find and which data I need to erease.

      ya, i also couldn't manage to do this. i googled how, and i don't seem to have the tools needed. would you consider uploading your own version of this mod?

      I managed to create a file that removed the story folder (and mod fixer) for use of Vortex. Mind you I have not tested it, so would appreciate if anyone can tell me if this version worked or not.

    To anyone who wishes to use this mod post Patch 7, I have uploaded a version with the mod fixer removed.

    Batmode (No Mod Fixer)

    I have tested it in Patch 7 Hotfix #28 and it works. 

    Edit: Also tested it in Patch 8 and it works.

      Yep the bat mod works for Patch 8.

      Because it's not my mod, all I did was remove the mod fixer.

    any chance we get an optional "Batstarion" model for the bat  ? this model adds Astarion's hair to the bat form (silly I know) unfortunately the mod that uses this model requires ascension.

    I love this! I'll download it for my Astarion origin. He will stay a spawn, but he is a Druid (Spore druid rogue build. In my hc he accidentally turned into a druid after helping the fungus people in the underdark and they blessed him while he had the stolen idol of SIlvanus in his backpack, thus turning him into a druid. Oops. Anyways). And I thought it would be fun if his wild shape is a bat. :D

    hiii, I love this mod so far (he's so cute!) but I noticed that Astarion can't speak to animals when he's a bat, just getting a "you cannot talk right now" message -- I expected to be able to start convos with animals like a druid's wildshape forms can. is it intentional / any chance of adding this ability to bat form? it would be nice to have!
