About this mod
An Illusion school version of Green-Flame Blade, where instead of flames the attack is assisted by an illusory duplicate.

This mod contains a reskinned version of Green-Flame Blade, belonging to the Illusion school and dealing psychic damage, but otherwise as mechanically close to rules as written for the original as I thought made sense. (The "worth at least 1sp" restriction preventing use with Shadow Blade is often ignored and I'm not a fan of it myself, so made no attempt to replicate it.)
The attack is assisted by a temporary illusory duplicate, which will stay behind and wait for you to select the secondary target when applicable. Use the temporary spell to the right of the action bar when it appears.
Supports use as an Opportunity Attack reaction with the War Caster feat.
Pseudo-Spell Description
How To Get
Normally
To avoid causing conflicts with other mods, the spell is only added to class spell lists if Script Extender is used. When used, it's available to Arcane Tricksters, Bards, Eldritch Knights, High Elves, Sorcerers, Warlocks, Wizards, and via the Spell Sniper feat.
From Item
An old rapier imbued with the spell can be found in a Cartilaginous Chest in the room next to where Shadowheart is trapped in the tutorial. Any character can cast the spell while wielding the Mirror Blade weapon. Once they've successfully struck a second target, the spell is learned permanently so it can be used with a weapon of your choice.
You can summon a fresh copy of the chest using Tutorial Chest Summoning.
For installation instructions, see the wiki.
Extra Attack Fix SE
Baldur's Gate 3 does not implement the concept of "taking the Attack action" correctly and instead essentially counts anything with a weapon attack roll as a weapon attack made as part of the Attack action - including attack cantrips like Green-Flame Blade and now Mirror Blade. This is extremely overpowered if you use weapon attack cantrips from characters with the Extra Attack feature.
I recommend using Extra Attack Fix SE to solve this problem. It used to be an optional file here, but has now moved to its own page.
Compatibility
Compatible with War Caster (2014 and UA2). Mirror Blade should be loaded after (placed below) War Caster.
