Weight in on ways to make the backgrounds more unique, also on the third skill or bonus added to them as to make them more significant but not balance breaking.

Great mod! Thanks for your hard work. Just one question: the inspiration points system are working for these?

Hi, can someone please explain me is Haunted One background gives dialogue options like Dark urge and not cutscenes that goes with playing that origin? Idea is to play Tav with more dialogue choices and not predetermine Dark urge origin

    Thanks in advance!

Mod is installed and works but none of the backgrounds have icons? All blank grey squares.

Hi, i'm looking at your mods and i'm really impressed by your effort. I have not installed any of your mods yet because im a bit confused about your files, i speak in general not only this single mod of yours but all of them. If i check your description i see a load order image but with a single BACKRGOUND file, but in the download section i read "all the main files have to be installed" :).

I'm sure i'm missing something but i have to install both of them? Is there a hyerarchy to respect between "REGULAR and OVERRIDE"?. I feel you are well organized and your mods organization similar to Skyrim where it is mandatory to respect modding rules and order between main, optional, patch, etcc..But maybe it's me but it's not very clear how to manage your mods.

Maybe there is a kind of explanation paper somewhere to look at?

In any case i will try to install your mods because i think they're good. Keep on your work!

Override mods are mods that don't go to the load order per se. They do their work by just having the installed (meaning that their .Pak is located in appdata/Larian/baldurgate/mods - that isn't the precise path). Overrides are made in such a fashion that the user does not have to worry about them. Regular mods go on the load order as described in the images and their hierarchy does matter.

Using overrides was a decision to ease user interaction with the load order in things that require me to use more than 1 .Pak and aren't optional for the mod working as a whole. I have no documents and I would appreciate someone doing them as I can't afford the time to make them or the time to write better description pages or better images of what my mods actually do. The full feature list is actually contained in the changelog section on a per mod basis.

Ah ok, i didn't know how overrides works. Now it is much clearer. Thank you for the explaination.
Unfortunately i'm not confortable in BG3 modding so i can't really be of any help to write a little guide for your mods, just hope someone more experienced than me read this post :)

Thank you again for your effort!

Is this supposed to change the origin character's backgrounds? Because mine isn't.

So I've started up my Honor mode run, and I've run into the issue that Shadowheaert for some reason is an Urchin background instead of an
Acolyte. Would anything about the main file or the Noble file be any
    cause of that?

Just as a point of interest, a mod author has just done an Inspiration Framework, which could potentially be used to have new backgrounds influence inspirations in dialogues.

Sorry, I'm a little confused by the mod. It seems like it's giving the main chars their own background, which is cool, but is it any different? Different inspiration triggers...? I dont get what it's going to change. Its not like you'd pick these for custom characters as they are very specific icons/names.

Thank you for this great mod! I felt like the vanilla backgrounds kind of limited roleplay options and this allowed me to make the exact character I had in mind.

Not sure I understood, will the other origins come with these in any playthrough?

No. It is for the player to pick - Plus Origins did set these as default but I'll be back pedaling that on 1.0.0 release of that mod.
