    This mod should be compatible with other mods as long as they don't modify the progression table for 1st level Paladins.

    Is this mod compatible with other mods?
    Yes. Unless it changes the Paladin progression table for level 1, it should be compatible. If another mod does change the progression table, i.e. it's another Paladin related mod, I recommend using Compatibility Framework, which allows compatibility between subclasses. Any issues related to that mod should be directed to its comments section. 



    Why doesn't the subclass show up in character creation?
    You probably either:
    1) Didn't install it properly. Take a look at the installation guide at the end of the mod description.
    or
    2) Haven't updated all your mods. Make sure that ImprovedUI and Script Extender in particular are up-to-date.
    or
    3) Have other mods that overwrite it. Please place Community Library at the very top of your load order, and Compatibility Framework at the very bottom. If that doesn't work, try placing this mod further down in the load order. If the problem still persists, disable all other addons except the ones required by this mod, enable your mods one by one, and see which one is causing the issue.


    Why did I break my oath?
    Read the mod description.



    X happens when I do Y, even though it shouldn't. Why?
    Your other mods are most likely causing a conflict. The first thing you would need to do is to update each and every single one of your other mods to make sure they're not the ones causing the problem. If you've done that and the issue persists, try respeccing out of this subclass before updating it, then respec back. If that doesn't help, disable all mods apart from the required ones and enable your them one by one to see which one is causing problems. Once you've done that and the issue still persists, you are welcome to open a bug report.

    My mods are designed to be as non-dependent on other mods as possible, and I'm not responsible for issues appearing when playing with multiple mods. I will not go out of my way to accommodate or implement workarounds to make it compatible with mods other than the ones listed in the Required files section. If the authors of other mods that cause conflicts wish to do so, they may. 



    Can you make a version where everything is unlocked by the time you reach level 12?
    No.



    Will you make a custom class icon? I demand a custom subclass icon/I can't stand seeing a skull icon.
    I have no such plans at the moment. We'll see if I have the time and energy to spare in the future.
    The skull icon is a mod conflict. Read about those above and please do not bother writing a comment before you've read it.

    Would it be at all possible for you to add a version that uses the oath framework mod to change the parameters for oath breaking as a Conquest Paladin?

    I have been loving your mods! Any chance of making an optional lvl 12 squeezed edition that includes all lvl 20 spells and abilities just for mixed class fun?

    i downloaded conquest thinking it was the evil subclass for my DU sadly I broke my oath by killing alfira so I retook my oath and downloaded bleak walkers to change my oath but I cant get either of them to work and when I delete conquest and try to run my game it crashes Ive read through and reordered the 2 mods but nothing has worked I've also checked that I have all the mods needed installed help

      Regarding your oath being broken, read the Issues/Disclaimers section of the mod description. As for the crashes, many mods leave traces on your save games, meaning they won't work if you uninstall those mods at a later time. It's just the way things are I'm afraid. To have multiple subclasses for the same class, you need Community Library at the top of your load order and Compatibility Framework at the bottom, in addition to the other mods like ImprovedUI and Script Extender. Make sure you have those!

      when it comes to preventing oathbreaking, could it possible to make it so that the oath is already broken in the code, so that way you wouldn't have to worry about breaking your oath. ?

      I keep seeing this complaint everywhere, seems like scumbag paladin is going to be a new meme. The oathbreaking can be fixed with other mods, or just give yourself 1,000 gold every time you break your oath if you're desperate to cheat the system. I have 30,000 gold leaving Act 1 for my first time, so i could of broken my oath 30 times and paid it off.
      TL;DR Thanks for this awesome mod/subclass, if any changes are made i hope it's as an optional submod so the rest of the 85,000 of us can continue to enjoy it how you made it!

    Hey, I like this mod. So much so that LillyBird and I included it in Listonomicon. (we actually enjoy several of your class mods!) "Listo" is a Wabbajack-powered mod list, that works almost identically to Nexus Collections but uses a community alternative to Vortex to help users download mods from Nexus, put them in the correct order, and prepare their game to play. No mods are repacked, stolen, or distributed directly - users are still directed here, just like with Collections, to download from your Nexus page and ensure you are given the proper download credit.

    Due to confusion over what Wabbajack is and what it does, users at the Down By The River community encouraged me to give a courtesy "heads up" to the authors whose work is included in Listonomicon. And to assure them that per Listonomicon's install instructions, users are explicitly told to direct their bug reports issues to us first as mod authors (like you) don't want to deal with being inundated with help requests or bug reports from users with 300+ active mods.

    You can read a little more about our project on Github, though the preferred way to access Listonomicon is via the Wabbajack gallery. A list of all included mods are here. A synopsis of the philosophy of Listo and what we are trying to accomplish (and avoid) can be found in our Whitepaper on the first two pages, and is elaborated starting page 17 "List Philosophy."

    Is it possible to use your conquest mod and Bleak Walkers in the same file? I tried adding both with the compatibility frame work and bleak walkers overwrote conquest. I love your mods though conquest has been really fun thank you!

    Update v2.0 - NICE! Great to see a Level 1 power now present on the subclass, and a fitting one at that! Thanks!

    Now I just need to get a version with Oathbreaker and/or Vengeance tag support (or guidance on adding tags myself) and I'm set for the next playthrough.

    I have some questions on the free extra attack from Invincible Conquerer.
    It seems if I start my turn using certain attack actions (like Rush with a greatsword or Charger with any melee weapon), the free attack won't trigger, while with others like a simple attack or something like Cleave I can trigger the free attack.
    This is unlike the vanilla extra attacks, which I can trigger using almost any normal weapon attacks and even special attacks like Topple the Big Folk
     from the +3 greatsword you get in Act 3.

    I wonder if it is as intended or a bug.

      For some reason Rush-like spells don't count as attacks, so it won't trigger other weapon attack related abilities. I've tried this with my Bleak Walkers subclass as well and was unable to make Rush type spells work like they should. I hope I understood your issue correctly!

    This looks cool and all but I don't think i speak for just myself when saying that Id rather not have to change the leveling dynamics of the entire game just to play it. A level 12 version would be really nice. 

    EDIT: On second thought i suppose squishing down these subclasses might make them a tad strong lol. ill try it out as is with the lvl 12 cap. Thanks for your hard work friend.

And you don't have to, since it works just like every other BG3 subclass that doesn't have their progression squished down to level 12. 😊 Unlocking everything at level 12 (even the level 20 capstone ability) does make them much too strong, since those features are reserved for higher levels for a reason!
