Should this mod allow players that lost their honor saves (aka became dishonored) to save and load? Because even with this mod my dishonored save cannot save or load and it's driving me mad.

This mod removes single save restriction only in honour mode. After you fail once in honour mode, the game technically became 'custom mode with single save' instead of 'honour mode', so this mod will no longer apply.
As many of you have asked me this issue, I think an alternate file that apply on single save custom might help.

UPDATE: An additional file has been released, allowing you to turn off the single save option in difficulty setting while in custom mode.
Custom Mode is a bit different from Honour so I tried a different approach to allow saving/loading. Might be a little strange but hopefully it works.
(Please backup your save before trying it, for I have not tested it thoroughly)

HI - can you confirm which files are required. I deliberately ended an Honour Mode run, and now want to save in the resulting dishonour/customer mode.
Do I just need the third file? Or do I need the original file as well?

Would appreciate some more in-depth install instruction too - If I am installing al 3 files, do they all go in the same Public - Shared - Ruleset subfolder?

I wonder if there's a way to enable a reload on a party wipe but keep the one save file limit. I like the spontaneity of honor mode but do not want to be tempted by the multiple saves. The only way to reload would be to have your party get wiped, that sounds great but I've yet to see one do that.

Hi, how can we uninstall this? I've tried removing the file but it keep showing in the inactive column of the mod manager.

    thx

EDIT: forget it, I just realised is the honor mode dice and has nothing to do with this mod, sorry

I didn't have a public file in my data folder but clicking through the downloaded zip file brought me to the public folder that I dragged into data folder. Did this mid-playthrough with one of the optional files and it worked perfectly thank you!

I have a custom game save with honor mode settings and have installed all 3 files and can't seem to get this to work. When I load the game and go to change difficulty settings it does not allow me to untick the single save box.

Big question. Yes, honor mode difficulty shows up if you click the difficulty button on the escape menu in my current game. However two details are bothering me: when I hover over the continue button on the main menu, the save file info square shows up and lists Tactician as difficulty. This contrasts when looking in the load file menu and seeing "honour" listed as the difficulty next to save date in that list. Next and more bothersome detail, enemies in the game have a green tag appear beneath their name when they are hovered by the cursor and it lists Difficulty: Tactician! This is my first playthrough, so it is a bug, another mod conflicting, or is it my misunderstanding?

It's just like that in vanilla. As long as it says Honour mode when you select Difficulty from the main menu, you're good. I don't know why they didn't bother to change it on the save file descriptions. For the NPCs, I'm guessing they didn't find it reasonable to retag every npc as Difficulty:Honour and decided to just consider Difficulty:Tactician to mean Tactician or higher.

    Hi everyone,

I was just hoping for some clarity on installation - can this be installed with BG3MM, or only via a manual installation into the Data folder as per the description? (I'm fairly new to modding and just wanted to be sure.)

    Thank you!

So even with the Achievement Enabler, the Honour Mode Achievement will still be blocked?

Why would you expect an achievement for cheating on the HONOUR mode? As much as I'm tired of these mods, because honour mode is truly not that bad, I don't understand why anyone thinks they deserve a rare achievement for cheating. The mode is called honour mode, play it honourably. It's SUPPOSED to be hard, if it wasn't anyone would do it. And failed honour mode saves make for some hilarious stuff.

Because I want to have my cake and eat it too? No really, because I don't want to put myself through a run I won't be happy with, by failing certain dialogues or skill checks, and suffer through it, when I know I am more than capable of beating it. I have nearly 4,000 hours on DoS II and already over 500 on BG. You can take your awful attitude with you when you leave, please.

Well thats not really the discussion though. Achivements are set for specific challenges I.e. intended for people who participate and win within a specific rule set. Its not a discussion about the mod being "wrong" in  honour mode - its about being wrong IF you want the achivement for honour mode. If you sign up for a marathon you have a certain time limit and list demands of what you need to do, and is allowed to do that is required for you to get a participation trophy saying that you did in fact finish a marathon. If I just run half and then decide to jump on a scooter for the rest I did not actually finish the marathon and is disqualifed for any type of price.

That doesnt mean there is anything wrong with doing a half marathon and then saying f*#@ it and drive home outside of the competition. But you certainly wouldnt expect anyone thinking what you did was completing the achivment of the marathon. Achivements are specificly intended as prices for attempting and succeeding specific challenged within the game following specific rules and criterias. You would have a point if this was just a discussion about modding honour mod in general BUT its not. The whole point of the achivment existing in the first place is to say "this person completed this game following these particular rules and limitations".

It's fine guys, I speed ran it with no mods and got it, just to prove to myself (and sadly an internet stranger I shouldn't care about) I could, and it was pretty easy, save a couple of risky encounters I forgot to change companions to suit.

Personally I would agree that I like "Honor" more than "Honour", however, "Honour" is used by official text so just respect that lol.
