Drop the .pak in *DRIVE*:\Users\*USER*\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods\
When you load BG3MM now, you'll see that the shader pack is loaded in the override section by default. That's where it should be. Simply launch your game.
Note: This mod only supports BG3MM officially. Any other way is up to yourself.
I finally got around to letting my game update patch 6 and hotfix 25, my game wouldn't even open or load... so I removed all mods and overrides and am slowly adding things back in to get it back to where it was.
One of the first overrides I am adding in is this one, and I have noticed that adding it is causing facial hair (specifically the stubble) to look like smeared mud. Prior to adding this mod back in the facial hair was clear and the individual hairs were visible.
Any solutions?
(Currently I have only added back in the mod fixer, this mod, unique tav, and I am attempting both native mod loader and WASD movement. I use the script extender and the BG3 mod manager)
I had a Blue Body because i installed beautiful nipple for Bcb and had 20 other mod pages up lol forgot to read/missed ONE requirement in 2-3 hours XD spent 20-40 minutes finding a solution, dont rush fellas

Hi again Trips, I like this mod. So much so that LillyBird and I included it in Listonomicon.
Hopefully you have a better idea of what "Listo" is by now :)
Per our conversation on Down By The River, this is a courtesy "heads up" to the authors whose work is included in Listonomicon. And to assure you that per Listonomicon's install instructions, users are explicitly told to direct their bug reports issues to us first as mod authors (like you) don't want to deal with being inundated with help requests or bug reports from users with 300+ active mods.
If you have any concern about your mod being included in Listonomicon (which is still downloaded from this page, and credits you as the author), please send me a message via Nexus's PM mail. I'm not sure how to get notifications if someone has replied to a comment.
I'm going to cry. My game crashed today while idle and all my mods were thrown out of mod manager for some reason. I brought them all back, launched the game and now it keeps telling me that the trips_shaders are missing. Even if I launch the game directly from bg3mm. I'm scared to launch the save not knowing if it will break the game or if this is just some bug and the shaders are working. I need them for unique tav. :') It worked so well until now...
this is a known current but in bg3 mod manager (since patch 6) and was discussed often at bg3mm github page. yeah it's annoying as hell. and sometimes it also deletes some .pak mods from your documents/Mods folder so make sure to re-add trips shaders .pak there if it's missing.
No!! people out there breaking their games like this....
To uninstall any .pak mod you need to exit game and first delete the .pak file from Documents/Mods folder where you copied it. Than open BG3MM, it will give you warning that one mod is missing, that is normal. The mod will now be gone from your mod list.
(Alternatively, you can leave the .pak file in your mods folder, but when you open BG3MM move the mod from the left side to the right side of manager to make it inactive)
After that you have to save new mod list without that mod, so you HAVE TO press "Save load order to file" icon, and than after that press "Export order to game" icon to generate new correct modsettings.lsx file.
You need to do this every time you add or remove any mods.
im so sorry to be that guy - Ive installed all the files necessary correctly (assumingly), and my tav's body is still invisible. How to fix/what have I done wrong? Troubleshooting tips? Ive manually installed it, AND installed it through BG3MM.
I hate to be that person, but I've installed this exactly as described with UniqueTav installed perfectly, and my characters still show up with blue/green textured bodies with seam lines along the arms and tail in the create menu. What can I check to troubleshoot??
I just installed it all exactly like that as well, manually and everything and my tavs are still blue. I just uninstalled everything because I couldn't find a way to fix it. Bizarre. Did you ever find a fix?

The parameters of the shader are the same as pre-patch 5.
Enjoy!
Update: Added some more shaders to future proof your projects in the likely event they VT the rest of the shaders as well down the line.

Not until Larian provides us the means to add new shaders atleast.
I tried.

My only issue with using it is that when using the old shaders mindflayers have black faces and tentacles, but the rest of their bodies are fine.
I've tried loading them at the top and bottom of my load order and nothing changes.
Any idea what causes this?
