This mod is great and makes the inventory way better... except for what it does to the spell slot pool. I can tell how many spells I have left in each slot, but can't tell what my max slots are, so I don't know if I need to long rest or not.
I disabled the mod and it fixed the problem, so evidently there is some conflict with the mod. I am using the Improved UI compatibility version with the Improved UI Assets add-on, so perhaps it's something to do with Improved UI. Not sure. All I know is when the mod is installed, I get this issue, and once the mod is disabled, the problem is fixed. I do have IUI and IUI Assets both installed as well btw, as well as Distinctive Dyes, and have them in this load order:
IUI IUI Assets Distinctive Dyes Mark Books As Read Better Inventory UI Better Inventory UI IUI Assets add-on
that means you either have not uptodate components (outdated game version, old versions of this mod, old version of IUI assets, Plus UI - which is completely outdated now), or you have leftovers of loose files in Data\Public\...\Library or Widgets or Theme from other, old/low-effort mods, which always overwrite paked mods.
the only reason why mod may not work is ignoring installation instructions.
Anybody knows why the text font numbers on items get tiny when i add Better Inventory UI for Improved UI Assets? Only have Modfixer IUI & IUI ASSET & Better Inventory UI for Improved UI Assets in load order
container items counter is smaller for pads indeed (tho I don't see numbers cutting in my case), will take a look. counters for everything else should be fine.
I have a lot of lag when opening inventory, or switching characters. I dont know if it's this mod or not. For the record, I own many of your mods. Do you know if that might be the case? If can any of your other mods be the cause? (My pc is old but, I don't have a lot of fps, but when I am switching characters or opening inventory I get a half second freeze)
Also opening loot crates takes a full second. After clicking them I have to wait like 1-2 seconds for them to open. Picking up items also has a delay. Any suggestions please? Also is it safe to delete your mods mid playthrough?
main file increases average 6-size party inventory opening time by ~10% on my 5-years old rig. may take slightly longer on very old old pc or absolutely cluttered inventory, but 2 sec lag - hardly. are your game on SDD?
you can install and uninstall my mods at any moment without risks, if they are installed properly, to Overrides of bg3mm.
Hello, you say this mod increases party inventory opening time by 10%. Does it affect the individual containers as well? And are you talking about this mod particulary? If yes, can any of your other mods increase inventory opening times? I am talking about both individual character inventories as well as the collective inventory. (The on that shows you all of your companions' inventories at the same time)
any inventory opening time depends on amount of items. for party panel it depends on a total number of items in all inventories. its a vanilla behavior.
this mod adds new items checks to add overlayed tag to some items categories, it increased opening time of all inventories by ~10% on pretty old rig as I mentioned.
addon for the mod doesn't increased opening time, items are tagged in it via icons atlases (unlike on logic level in main file). none other of my mods may increase inventory opening times. character/party panel and hotbar mod might possible increase rendering time for a few miliseconds since it increases inventory grid sizes.
whenever I enable this mod my Spell slots and Action/Bonus Action icons disappear. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if I'm missing something but I just can't get them to appear unless I remove this mod
none of my mods mess with class-related stuff (action recourses and class symbol in this case). its Improved UI side. you either have outdated Improved UI Assets or custom class without IUI assets installed.
In that screenshot Lae'zel is completely vanilla, I do have Improved UI but the icons only vanish when I enable Better Inventory. It could be some conflict somewhere else but currently, I'm only losing the icons when I enable this mod.
this mod doesn't touch resource icons and class icons at all. its on IUI side. if you installed IUI compatible version, you need IUI suite (assets including) installed. if you have non-IUI version, you shouldn't have IUI installed. check closely file names in Files.
I understand what you're saying. I have IUI and I downloaded the IUI version of your mod. All I'm reporting here is that those icons disappear for me ONLY when I add this mod to my load order. this may not be caused directly by this mod but using only 2 mods IUI and Better for IUI, the icons disappear. for me it's not a huge deal, most of my party is non-magical so it's a minor inconvenience I can deal with while having a way to see which books I've read at a glance. I just wanted to report the issue is all.
no, you didn't get it. icons won't disappear if you use proper setup. you need IUI Core AND IUI Assets if you installed IUI-compatible version of this mod. you don't have IUI Assets installed, that's why class resources and icons don't show up.
I can't believe how dumb I was for this. I'm sorry for that. I guess using the IUI Asset version of your mod without the assets file was my massive blunder. I'll have to read things more clearly in the future. Apologies for the stupidity
Came here to see if anyone else was dealing with this issue and yeah, same exact issue... I have everything necessary installed and in the correct load order and I'm still having this exact issue.
either you have outdated IUI versions, or outdated version of this mod installed, or outdated game, or loose files in data\public\...\library. its not this mod's side, it doesn't affect class recourses. your logic "I removed the mod, it fine now" means nothing in bg3 modding, most issues come from mods interactions and outdated versions.
You're linking to the wiki, and we know what vanilla looks like. What about showing how it looks like in your end? When it comes to the Addon, it has a requirement you haven't listed.
Yes, I am linking to the wiki... to allow the mod author to easily get the UUIDs of the items the mod doesn't highlight as useful... As explained in my original edit.
As far as my issue, there's nothing to show other than an icon without the "wares" icon overlay when it's been added to wares. I have the dyes dependency mod installed.

It has been disactivated for unfixable issues so it might not work correctly if you are on patch 6 or even earlier...
Only have Modfixer IUI & IUI ASSET & Better Inventory UI for Improved UI Assets in load order
EDIT: Yup whatever u did fix it

I have IUI Core AND Better Inventory UI Default for Improved UI Assets. No Better Inventory UI Default or Lodestones Icons Addon.
Bug disappears when I remove Better Inventory UI Default for Improved UI Assets from mod folder.
I'm using;

I don't have ImprovedUI or ImprovedUI assets installed.
EDIT: Also, Infernal Iron has a background to show it has a use, Infernal Metal, Infernal Alloy and Enriched Infernal Iron do not.
