Attempted to add you on discord but you may not add some random dude out of the blue, lol. Unless you know which server to message you from as well? Really loved your head presets and wanted to know where to get them. Ggk161 on discord, or let me know which server.
The evil was defeated, meaning the Aliandra mod got deleted. Don't let mean spirited people ruin your modding experience, as your mods bring many people true joy. Malicious people such as that troll don't deserve the satisfaction of a "win" against you.
Woohoo! I won't be posting on nexus anymore, but I will be posting on somewhere else. I prefer not to say it explicitly on here because I have seen them looking at my account. If you want you can dm me on discord (mantiiss) and ill send you the link!
Unlike Baratheon's sc, the screen is too bright. even though I turned off AMD Fidelity FX Sharpening and I applied both shaders and textures. May I know the more detailed settings?
You can try editing the “minimalcolourgrading” shader. You can reduce the exposure. Alternatively, you can edit the shader that is for “shadows, midlights, highlights” and increase the shadows.
I can't find a way to message you here so I had to post this way, but I was hoping that you could tell me which preset you used for your elf/half-elf in your screenshots on the eyepatch mod page? I'd love to have that preset if you know who made it.
Thank you so much for sharing your presets as well as being so welcoming to new users, and helping people to understand how you get such gorgeous shots as well! ♥
I very much appreciate you including the shaders along with the preset. That way if we just want to use your preset, we don't have to download extra shaders or pick and choose them manually.
On my QD-OLED the FidelityFX Adaptive Sharpening is absolutely horrible. There's 4 kinds of sharpening you've turned on here + Radial Blur to remove some of the sharpening to the UI.
Turning off the FidelityFX Adaptive Sharpening is much closer to what I thought the preset would look like, and it removes a lot of the unnecessary blur the developers put in on background objects which makes them seem a lower resolution than they are.
To anyone else using this, if you find it oversharpened, just remove the AMD Fidelity FX Sharpening. It'll also remove the horrible shimmering trails behind characters walking and their shadows moving through scenes. I don't need the game to look super sharpened but this is definitely better.
That said, there's a native way to sharpen the game already from within the video settings and this might be good enough for most people. Though I do appreciate the slightly stronger shadows this preset offers.
ah okay! yes, different setups and monitors will look different. Unfortunately, that is how it is. But really my presets are meant to be adjusted to your liking anyways! My resolution is also 2560x1440, so any resolutions below that may also appear oversharpened with adaptive sharpening.
My resolution is 3440x1440. I think the reason why it looks oversharpened is because I am not using AMD graphics and don't use DLSS, so nothing is low resolution to begin with. I have a 4090 and I am playing at native resolution. I also have the native AMD sharpening in the game settings totally disabled. It does look much better though with your settings, so long as I remove the AMD FidelityFX Adaptive Sharpening, so thank you.
