I do clearly understand how scars work, thank you. Not every puncture scars. Sometimes the skin heals. More importantly, in Vampire mythology (which D&D borrows from) the vampire form heals itself of most imperfections to reveal the more "perfect" self. Again, Astarion is the only vampire we meet who still has his scars of where he was bit. None of the other Vampires, including Cazador, have these. Which is unfortunate because it makes such a dead giveaway that Astarion is a Vampire before you find out. Not sure why Larian did that.
In any case, if you don't like it don't download it. You also don't need to comment on MOD's you don't like, either. This isn't Twitter/X.
It actually doesn't make sense for him to have scars, though. No other vampire (including his fellow spawn) have them. Not only that, but in the world of D&D, magic makes it so that scars are a hundred percent preventable or curable.
I downloaded this mod because it doesn't make sense for Astarion to still have bite marks on his neck. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work with a different head model. I tried to use this with A Visit with Volo - Astarion (https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4617), and I got the new hair, but his face stayed the same. Too bad.
Yeah, they conflict with each other. Technically speaking, I can do that for a visit with volo. But it's not allowed unless I got the permission of the modder
Visit with Volo or the Hot as bloody hell Mod, which has even 2 variants. Would be great if you could ask the modders if you could remove the Bite Marks.
Thank you. It was really weird for the bites to be there and the game not allowing you to ask him or confront him for being a vampire until the camp scene triggers

Did you get to ask them yet?
