Feel free to suggest any Character Customization mods you'd like me to support. I'll reach out for permission from said Dev and add it if/when granted. If a Dev from a CC mod would like to add support to these Genasi, feel free to do so!
I don't know what happens if I'd support for files that don't exist in a user's load order, that's why I approached it in this way. Also, I thought it made sense to separate the base game and individual mods.
You can enable Character Customization mods for these Genasi by downloading the optional files and importing them in your mod loader. For example, the picture below is my personal load order (BG3 MM). When more CC options arrive, just keep all RaceGenasi_xxx in one big pile. I don't know what happens if I'd add support for files that don't exist in a user's load order, that's why I approached it this way.
Thanks for all the kind words, really appreciate them!
Currently working on Ice, Magma and Smoke Para-Elemental Genasi. Once these are finished, I'll update/add support to the customization mods
Edit: Life's getting busy, modding has to take a backseat at this point in time.
for some reason the body is invisible when i try to use the mod. i like your mod the most because of the elemental aura thing, but only the head shows up the rest of the body seems missing for some reason and i cant figure out why. also i cant find the racegenasi patches so maybe im missing something
Would it be possible to create a lite version of this that doesnt require ScriptExtender? Im on Mac, so I cannot use it else.. I dont know what exactly required ScriptExtender in this mod, but it would be great, if it was possible.
Hi, it looks like after Update 6, the create water feature for water genasi isn't working anymore; I did a little digging on my own and people are saying that Larian removed the cantrip version of the spell from the game in this update. When I level to 3, the spell shows up as a cantrip on the level up screen, but it's not added to my hotbar or my spellbook, though I did notice that if I learned the spell from another source, I was able to use the racial feature for one cast that way. Hoping you are able to fix this, I really do love everything you've done with this mod!
Hi! First and foremost: Thanks for all your work in bringing us this mod, it's fantastic! Second: Would it be possible to create a compatibility patch with Nixmori's "Dulcet Bodies" mod? My first ever TT D&D 5e character was a Water Genasi Life Cleric with, ahem, a bountiful body. The chance to finally recreate her for BG3 is something I've been waiting for since launch, lol.
Hi, loving the mod so far but I have a question regarding the faces specifically with the Fire Genasi.
I have this mod installed, the faces of faerun patch installed and faces of faerun as well. And this is my load order for them
RaceGenasi RaceGenasi_FacesofFaerun RaceGenasi_more_dreads_n_curls RaceGenasi_TavHairSalon_Icons Faces of Faerun
However, none of the other faces are showing up when I'm playing as a fire genasi. Is am I missing something, or is this not supposed to be like that? I'm just wanting to make sure I'm not doing something wrong.
Update I just checked and noticed nothing wrong. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your issue - I checked for facial options at character creation and I saw the complete list.
Do you have the Improved UI mod? This one is necessary for the Faces of Faerun, and many others.
Hello yes I have Improved UI, Improved UI Assets. I have faces of faerun as well as the patch for that, which you have on this page. But i only have the 8 faces, and then 2 extra ones when all of my other races have all the Faces of Faerun faces. I have faces of faerun at the bottom of the load order and the genasi mod somewhere above it.
So my load order looks sorta like this
Improved UI Assets Mod Fixer Improved UI Community Library ... RaceGenasi RaceGenasi_FacesofFaerun RaceGenasi_more_dreads_n_curls RaceGenasi_TavHairSalon_Icons .... Faces of Faerun Compatibility Framework
Since these Genasi use humans as base, they should have the same facial customization options. This is true on my end for all Genasi subrace/body type combinations, except for 1 fem and 1 masc head which I need to update the patch for.
★DIFFICULTY MODS: Mods like Lethal AI, Stronger bosses & enemies, Enemies enhanced, tactician plus etc need to be in right load order (my opinion dont use stat boosts mods like tactician plus they will boost summons and ur summons aswell, i say use Configurable Enemies or Combat Extender 🔴WARNING🔴 Configurable Enemies DEFAULT SETTINGS IS BRUTAL, if Configurable Enemies is to hard to set up for u, i say go with Combat Extender, default setting is good on there), honourable mention: Absolute Wrath mod is great if u want sum randomness and Player Level Scaling mod is cool if u dont want to over lvl enemies (Player Level Scaling is great if u use UnlockLevelCurve)
★FEATS/RACES/CLASSES & SUBCLASSES: Order subclasses like how it is in game (Up to u) & For Fantastical Multiverse put Fantastical Multiverse core first then grab each Fantastical Multiverse race u want and put below core (Keep core and races updated)
★SKIN/HAIR/EYE COLOR MODS: Putting this above or below CUSTOM HORNS/HAIR/HEADS/COSMETIC section will depend on mods u grab, Glowing Eyes or Eye of beholder mod for example
★CUSTOM HORNS/HAIR/HEADS/COSMETIC MODS: YOU KNOW UR USING TAV HAIR SALON LOL
★CUSTOM DICE MODS: You only need to use 10 or 11 dice, any more will not show up (I say ten cause i did not beat honour mode yet to get golden dice so if u have gold dice the 11th dice may not show but to be safe only grab ten dice u want)
★PATCHES/ADDONS MODS: HEADS/CLASSES/HAIR/EYES/RACE & MORE Need patches to work together, sum are on author page and sum are on other pages: Here are a few: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/353?tab=files -- https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4131?tab=files -- https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4277?tab=files -- https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4800?tab=files & MANY MORE Thiese should always be below main mod unless said otherwise
★MAJOR MODS: These mods must be at bottom unless a Mod tell u to put below them but these need to be at bottom PERIOD, Spell List Combiner & Compatibility Framework in that order
★LASTLY: Sum mods it dont matter where u put them but always read to see what conflicts with what. Here a tip for nexusmods site, always track ur favorite mods (and endorse if u really like them) and u will get notice when they update. Speaking of update, click update tab to see any mods that been recently updated if u didnt track sum down yet, always keep mods up to date. You may even find new mods for ur collection, dont blame me if u go crazy lol (🔴WARNING🔴 Sum mods will break ur game save mid playthough so either finish run or go and see if mod can be added mid playthrough, same as for removing mods mid playthrough but they have worst results so i say finish run then update but that is up to u) ★HOPE THIS HELPS ABIT XD★
EDIT: Forgot Most important thing, to activate Norbyte's Baldur's Gate 3 Script Extender go into bg3mm then click on tools then click on Download & Extract the Script Extender then click yes and ur done (be warned when bg3 itself do a major update on game, Script Extender mods may need time to undate to work on new patch so just keep eye on update tab like i said before xd) and always save ur load order so u dont have to keep redoing it
Hi! I wanted to ask if you'd be okay with me creating a Unique Tav patch for this mod? Your mod would still be required of course! It would just add support for custom models, textures, and body tattoos :3 Totally cool if not, of course! Thank you!
Thanks for the suggestions :-). Gotta admit, I wasn't even aware of a lot of customization mods until you and others brought them up. Awesome to see so many options!
