Is it possible to make a version of silence that functions like it does in The Elder Scrolls, where it's cast on a single target rather than a dome? Essentially, making the spell function the same as the sussur weapons do. I'd be willing to lose the aoe effect if it means not potentially nerfing my casters as well.
If you mean that the enemies are using it on themself or their allies, then so far, from the very start when finding Withers, the skelletons there still cast the bubble on the ground, and still had concentration because after killing the one that cast it, the silence bubble disapeared.
But this is the only enemy type so far I have encountered using the spell, and it still works the original ways. the version you cast yourself is cast on you or your allies, and the person inside it and moves with the silence aura can still cast spells, but everyone else entering is being silenced.
I am guessing because there are more than 1 Silence spell in the game, and enemies are using their own version of silence from the spell lists.
